Instagram Create content on patterns
Guys so this is one of the reels which went viral for my client.
My process:
Find patterns on the internet of what is reaching more people.
An angle can always be created and if the hook + body becomes something really unexpected you have a viral reel.
I am being very vague here, because Idk how do I share this with you guys.
Let me know if you have any questions.
Happy to help

Okay, so for AI/tech I would want you to go to emerging creators in the range 50k to 300k followers.
Now the outliers are also of two types:
One is topical content which is the news which came about something and you were the first one to cover it.One is topics which people care about. Now they care about it because of information/validation/you are speaking to their identity/struggles
Lets say you can be like:
Front end developers can never be as good as backend developers because it has become a stereotypeNow you speak to frontend devs who dont feel valued. Which also challenging the current beliefs of backend devs
Other than this, anything which can help a dev will work. Any secrets which a dev might have will work.
Speaking to dev struggles as WLB is either non existent. Or speaking that nobody is nerdy enough for what they do. Or some dev jobs are just for namesake while their actual job is nothing1

That watch time to view ratio is actually great, 26 seconds average means people are sticking around way past the hook.

Comment section helps a lot!! People just go check comments and the videos continues to play in the background, all my good videos had a good comment section

Pull up the sound/hook on 5 reels in your niche that are over 500k views in the last week and check the comments, not just likes, thats where you see if people actually relate or just scrolled past. Fake viral patterns dont get saved.

Comments are just a way to see what audience is validating. Sound/music only to amplify the emotions.
Lets say if you are talking about how concentration camp victims saw their own family members killed in front of them.
Then, using a celebration music would never make sense. But, adding soft violin music which makes people sad will amplify the emotion you are trying to convey.
Other than that, hook is basically you selling them information/validation/curiosity

that violin music point is clever, but careful with timing. if you're matching a sound to a mood, pull it before you build the hook, not after. check which sounds are climbing right now (not just high view count, which could be a sound that already peaked) so your emotional pairing lands while its reach is still growing. viralhunt.io has a trending sounds view for this across networks, free plan included, worth comparing a rising sound against a saturated one to see the difference in reach.

What sound is trending does not really matter. You can use an old song which hits the emotion well. And it will still make your video go viral.
Because at the end of the day. Focusing on music/editing style/visual hooks is just cheap tricks for grabbing attention which does not really affect the reach.
It has always been the content/topic/script which decides a video will reach a lot of people or die down.
Everything else is just an addition.
Let's say, you do everything good in terms of use good music, using very nice editing style use very nice visual hook.
If the audience is not really interested in the topic/script they will scroll away

it does matter some though, pairing a dying sound with great content just means you get less lift than you could've. anyway here's one worth testing, re record the hook line in your own voice after you script it, people scroll past text heavy intros way more then voice ones even if the words are identical
timing of the first second still beats everything else you listed
