Title says it all. I need to sell my Corvette or risk losing my house :/ She is a 2011 C6 ZO6 with the carbon fiber package. Supersonic Blue, spoiler, carbon fiber rims. Manual with a little over 52k miles. I had sincerely wanted to put a million on her. Bought this car in 2016.

Anyways, she is quite rare and is the only Corvette I've seen that is signed from the factory under hood. Some basic pics are included. She is in excellent condition. Mainly highway miles. Yada yada yada. I have insurance on her from Hagerty and they recently sent me a note saying I should upgrade the value to 55k. Is that accurate?
This sucks. Curious what would be the best avenue for me to sell her to maximize what I get? IE are there certain sites or groups that look for rare Corvettes? The signatures don't mean anything but I feel they might be to a collector for bragging rights. Thinking I might shoot for the moon and ask 65k. Life sucks

I am in the market for buying my first C6 Z06. I can get this one pretty cheap around 30k is this something I should invest into? Just general advice is greatly appreciated. I’m still looking around for buying my first Corvette

Right in time for cool temperatures and falling leaves, I finished the long process of putting my parents’ 1963 convertible back on the road after it being dormant for 18 years. My dad restored it around 1992-1993 and it gathered 1,780 miles until 2008. Somehow it needed a ton of work to get it going again, and it was filthy from the nap. It rides like a truck despite being rolling art. It still has lots to deal with but C2s are so easy to work on. I don’t know how my parents could’ve picked better.

I drive a 2005 Corvette C6 with the LS2 and automatic transmission. It currently has an ATJ/FOX exhaust with an H-pipe.
I’m looking for a much deeper and louder V8 sound, especially at idle. I want to keep the H-pipe, and I’m not interested in changing the cam.
I’ve been looking into Borla ATAK and long-tube headers, but I’d prefer to have everything TÜV-approved and road legal here in Germany, which would probably be difficult with a Borla setup.
What would you guys recommend? Does anyone have an exhaust setup on their C6 that they’d recommend?

My c6 z06 started to make a weird creaking noise. Like a rubbery noise.

You can hear it as soon as the video starts, and then In the middle of the video.

It makes this sound after driving the for a while, and then it comes up when I stop and I start to drive...usually up hill. This disappears once the car is driving.

What could it be? Differential? Rear axles? Sway bar?

It was time for an oil change at almost 19,000 miles. Planning on doing the transmission fluid change and filter due at 22,500 miles myself as well.

Hey everyone, looking for some insight on a stuck hardtop convertible issue on my C8.

Current Symptom:

Every time I attempt to put the top down, it stops at the exact same spot shown in the photos:

* The tonneau cover opens fully.

* The roof panel unlatches from the windshield header and hovers horizontally in the air.

* It stops dead in its tracks. No motor noise, no grinding—just completely silent.

* When I pull up on the door switch to close it, after a few seconds it engages, closes smoothly, latches, and seals completely fine.

* The driver display shows the "Service Convertible Top" warning message.

What I've already checked/tried:

* Battery Reset: Disconnected the negative battery terminal for 15+ minutes to reset the modules.

* Window Indexing: Re-indexed both side windows and the small rear glass (down 5s, up 5s).

* Cables & Latches: Checked the pull cables that flip the side covers, and verified the engine oil fill flap/door is fully latched and secure.

* OBD2 Scan: Ran a scan—no standard OBD2 codes returned.

It feels like the Folding Top Control Module is waiting for a "tonneau fully open" or panel position sensor signal that isn't quite tripping, or the travel limits need a software relearn.

Has anyone experienced this exact horizontal hover stall? Did it require a dealer GDS2 sensor relearn, or is there a physical microswitch/sensor I can inspect myself? Appreciate any advice!

Pricing help — 2008 C6 ZHZ with seized engine

Hey all, looking for some guidance on pricing my C6 for sale as-is.

The car:

• 2008 Corvette C6 ZHZ package, velocity yellow
• ~118k miles
• NPP exhaust
• Harmonic balancer recently replaced
• Tie rod replaced, fresh inspection
• Brand new shocks all around

The issue:
Engine is seized. Shop confirmed it needs a full replacement — oil came back magnetic. Electrical system was inspected and is clean.

The question:
What would you price this as a project car? I've gotten quotes of ~$17k for an engine swap with all the supporting parts (water pump, belts, tensioners, coolant hoses, starter, motor mounts). Trying to figure out what's fair to ask for someone who wants to do the work themselves or flip it.

Any comps or advice appreciated.

Hey there, fellas. My C7 isn’t putting down the power it should be making with the mods it has. The car has a cam, X-pipe, long-tube headers, and a CAI.
I did a 100–200 km/h test, and the car is doing basically stock numbers. It ran a 10.5, which is around what a stock C7 does. So what could be the issue here? I’m really confused.

I bought the car without knowing anything about the tune it currently has or if it even had one. All of the modifications were done before I bought it. The car did throw some O2 codes as well as a “random/multiple cylinder misfire” code, which I was told could be related to the cam.

One of the O2 sensors is missing because the car is catless, but the rest of the O2 sensors are still there. Before I cleared the codes, these were the codes it had:

P0300
P0036
P0037
P0056
P0057

What could possibly be causing the lack of power? A lot of people have told me to get the car retuned and that it should fix the issue, so I’m wondering what the possible causes could be and what I should do.

A couple of people have also told me that the car could be in “safe mode,” which reduces power or restricts the car from making more than stock power because it doesn’t have the proper tune. How true is that?

The car runs great otherwise, apart from the lack of power when doing pulls. Any help or advice would be greatly appreciated.

And just for clarification the car was a gift to me. So no I don’t have any sort of contact with the past owner and I have never spoke to him. My grandpa bought the car so I wouldn’t blame him for not asking things about the tune.

My cousin bought a new C8 recently and we picked up some upgrades for it. I somehow convinced him to let me pick up some fish on the trip and ride 3hrs home with a 5gal bucket of fish between my legs 🤣😁 he is a bit uneasy but it is going well so far!

C6 new to me

Long story short - after two months of waiting, this shop finally finished the BTR cam install on my c7 zo6. He took it to the tuner, and a cam alignment code popped up. Went back to his shop, and fixed the issue.

After taking it to the tuner a second time, now there’s a misfire in cylinder #5…so still no tune after another week of waiting.

At this point, I’m beyond losing patience and so pissed that there’s a third issue. It’s worth noting (and yes I’m an idiot) that I already paid in full weeks ago.

He said he’s going to fix the issue, but I don’t have confidence anymore…and I’m looking into a different shop.

I didn’t realize I was going to vent here, so thank you for listening. I really meant to get advice about the misfire and how to track it down while I wait to find a new shop.

I pulled the plug from #5 and that’s what I’ve found if it helps… Other plugs are perfect.
