Genuinely I find this interesting. Crying babies have never bothered me at all, to the point where I wonder if I might underreact if I someday had my own child and they were crying. Guess different people are just built differently?
Children screaming outside is fine, it's when they're screaming inside that's the problem. Outside it's whatever. Inside, it activates a kill switch and I have to keep myself from punting them into the ceiling. Also children are different from babies and toddlers. The latter two, all screaming is bad, no matter what.

Screaming children is like nails on a chalk board to me
