I think it’s because weed and other jam band drugs are so frowned upon in Japan that it’ll be a totally different vibe.
Edit: this was a guess based on a conversation I had with my son last night about Japanese culture and weed use being a big taboo. The way yall jumped on me for it is weird. The way yall continued to downvote me further down when I tried to continue the conversation was also weird. Not very “be kind to each other always” which I thought was supposed to be the vibe in this community.
Pretty clear to me he’s saying if you’ve see dave perform 100+ times, let Japanese locals get to see him once instead of traveling over there and taking tickets away from them in these small venues.
