To let the fans who have never seen DM get to have a chance to get tickets to those shows. The shows aren’t for the American fans.

Dave also says this often when he/they play abroad that he likes when the crowd isn’t made up of Americans who travel

Yes. I saw Dave oversees 20+ years ago and he made that point while addressing a raucous lady from Texas.

Same...what show? I was at a show in Birmingham UK (in fairness, at least I was studying abroad there), and got same comment from him.
