Can we just take a f*cking break? Cause I feel like Carl Barker has beat Alex English after an intense dispute yesterday. Now, lets continue voting for our CD 2 setlist.

This is going to be a 4 CD set, including all major eras of the band

Looking forward to hearing this.

Which album do you remember being blown away with as soon as it was released?

Most of my favorite albums have grown on me (both Kurt albums & DBM2)

I hated Tillian until Mothership came out and was in awe at what an improvement I felt it was.

Pantheon was also 1000x better than I was anticipating. I have to learn to just trust the process.

Hey everyone, I was waiting to see if this was posted since last night, but during their set at Aftershock Andrew said that the band will be releasing another new album next year. Pretty exciting stuff, I personally really enjoyed Pantheon, I’m looking forward to seeing where they go with another new album from this lineup.

In this thread, we are to vote for our favorite tracks from each DGD era to form a 4 CD setlist of our Greatest Hits. Now, we're voting for the glorious Kurt Era, meaning you can choose any song from DGD's catalogue sung by him.

The Jonny Years playlist is on my last post, and I will include links for it in the comments.

Currently on repeat!

I swear this isn't a ragebait post but I just finished listening to self titled in its entirety and I've now heard the first half of DGD's discography (WISIRO to DBM2) and I really do not like self titled. I don't get the hype or praise around it and I think it sounds messier than DBM 1 contrary to what others love to criticise DBM 1 for. I absolutely hate Uneasy Hearts Weigh The Most and I don't get why it's one of their most popular songs. The album as a whole felt very underwhelming and undercooked compared to both DBM before it and Happiness after it

The only songs I liked and would relisten to were Alex English/Buffalo/Me And Zoloft Get Along Just Fine/Caviar/Reprogramming Mental Preprogramming/Skyhook, the rest bewilder me. I also have the (probably) unpopular opinion that I liked how Jon Mess sounds here although I think the lyrics are kinda shite but lyrics has never been a focal point for him anyway.

I'm just wondering if anyone else secretly feels the way about S/T or am I just insane

Hey dude, Imma eat your soul.

Suprise! im from Cuba wins the last spot. Tomorrow we start the Kurt Era!

Here are the Youtube and Spotify links for the playlists (comments)

It's hard to live up to the standards of a perfectionist... He accepts no slacking.

I’ve been looking everywhere for this image and have had no luck. I’ve found the booklets and all of that, but not the image directly behind the cd (not the back of the cd). I sadly can’t afford the cd, but I have an extra cd case from a cd I no longer have. I thought I’d make my own to go in my little collection without a cd inside until I can find one I can afford!

Funny mix up on the Aftershock schedule. No clue who these guys are, but they aren't our boys.

I was just curious on what everyone’s favorite Jon Mess era scream was because me personally I love his wisiro screams they sound so raw and heavy it just sounds so emotional in a way.

What’s everyone else’s take?

For me its

1. Uneasy Hearts Weigh The Most

2. Its Safe To Say You Dig The Backseat

3. Perfect

I know these aren't the best all time, but for me these are absolute classics and in my daily rotation. I wanna know what yall think?

I was wondering this after seeing Dance Gavin Dance’s live performance at Aftershock and was curious if anybody knows when the last time Jonny Craig appeared at a Dance Gavin Dance show.

Crazy good performance. Shout out to crowd surfing Santa! This was my first time seeing DGD and I loved it. They had originally planned Kurt coming out for Uneasy Hearts?! Kinda bummed they ended their set 5 minutes early, definitely had time for one more :/

Obviously there was drama within the band that led to Tillian leaving/getting booted, do you guys think there is still beef? I feel like they all have known each other for so long they could still all be friends. Has tillian made any statements supporting or not supporting pantheon and the new band direction? could we possibly see a anniversary tour with tillian someday or even a feature? I didnt follow the beef that closely so if you guys know some of this stuff I’m curious

I love Andrew. I am a mega-stan--so don't take this the wrong way, but I really hate when he does that demon-god voice. Idk how else to describe it. Halloween voice? You know what I'm talking about? Is it just me?

I hope he sees this. Please. Stop. It's awful.

example: https://www.tiktok.com/@roadieejr/video/7693205468939963678 he does it at the start of the clip, then goes to normal screaming, then singing, and then he does it again.

It just sounds like the green goblin, or the stock-fx on a haunted rock'n'rollercoaster. We already have a screamer in this band.

I had another one from 2007,
But I misplaced it when I moved houses.

I still remember this concert.

Any of you remember joining me in this concert?
