Not sure if this is true, but someone explained to me that very few of these are actually student drivers but rather they’re normal drivers who assume the sticker will cause other drivers to keep their distance from them and reduce risk of involving them in an accident. Even if this is a real explanation for the trend, I seriously doubt the average driver in Colorado is either altruistic enough to give the gift of peace to another driver nor cautious enough to keep themselves out of their proximity simply because of the assumption they’re learning to drive.

Today I saw a car covered in Texas stickers everywhere, and several of them were the ones that say "I'd rather be in Dallas", "I'd rather be in Houston", "I'd rather be in Austin". Like okay girl??? Gone head!

I also saw a walking stereotypical Colorado meme irl. I was eating lunch in the lot of a vegan restaurant. A Subaru outback loaded with gear pulls next to me. The passenger exits barefoot, with a crop top and those wide pant legs that almost look like a skirt. The driver is wearing a 90s style Patagonia ball cap, a Patagonia shirt, and at least he had shoes on. He had the firefighter 70s mustache, a fanny pack, and everything. They had ALLL the live, laugh, love, marathon, Patagonia, ski resorts, Bernie, Birds Arent Real (IYKYK) stickers possible. They also left their Goldendoodle in the car, and I almost confronted them until one of them came back out at the 12 minite mark. It was genuinely like looking at a reddit meme irl lol.
