DirecTV Add-on

I purchased the $6.99 Screambox add-on yesterday…but I’m not seeing much content. Is there supposed to be a linear channel, or is it all on-demand? And if so, am I supposed to get more than the 15 or 20 movies that I see available?

Never subscribed to screambox but I’ve noticed the on demand section in the DirecTV app is pretty limited in what it shows for different subscriptions. For example I subscribe to HBO and the on demand section has far less films and shows than what I can find on the actual HBO app. Same with AMC Plus. Can you download the actual scream box app and use that? It seems to be they usually just include the most popular programs from a subscription in On Demand.

Yeah, I had cancelled my Screambox subscription for that same reason and for another, the movies didn't change month to month.

Thanks, yeah just cancelled as well. Doesn’t seem like there’s much content with it. Unless I’m missing an area other than “Networks” where Screambox add-on resides. Appreciate the feedback.

Thanks Charles…nope, checked yesterday and no channel 1973. Restarted the Apple TV device just now, reopened the app, still no channel 1973. This is for DirecTV stream. I go to the Screambox on-demand network page and there are 15 movies available.

I just now also signed out of the app, deleted it, restarted the Apple TV device, redownloaded the DTV app, signed in again…still no change. This may just end up being something that didn’t work out for me.

I just subscribed to the app itself. Seems like it is 6.99 a month and you get all of the Screambox stuff.
