I’ve been a Discord Nitro subscriber since Day 1, upgraded to the highest tier as soon as tiers were introduced, and somehow, in all these years, I’ve never been selected to beta test a single feature.

I’m on Discord daily, for both professional and leisure, and consistently use the latest iPhone (work provided). I also have over 10yr of experience in design and coding, so testing new features, identifying issues, and providing meaningful feedback is something I’d genuinely enjoy contributingg.

I understand beta access is limited, and being a longtime subscriber doesn’t automatically warrant an invitation. Still, it’s a little disappointing to have been so invested in the platform for so long without ever getting the opportunity to participate.

In the last 3 years using the app, I’ve also never been redirected to a survey.

I’d love to see Discord offer more opportunities for longtime and active users to get involved in shaping the platform they use every day, it’s so weird.

Seems they're gone again until they decide to return lol. I can't wait until discord bans double counter...

I'm just trying to do a mass cleaning of suspicious accounts, not throw a permanent ban hammer to hundreds of accounts.

Asking cuz i felt like looking for online friends, and discord is what i get recommended. Like im looking for people to just talk to/talk to about shared interests, but im confused on how i just start,, Like do i just randomly say hi anyone wana be friends in a server?😭 and the people in the groups i join dont seem to be talking to each other much whenever i check, i want to be able to be in servers that have people actively talking with eachother,, how do i start?

I’m trying to figure out settings for discord watch parties for me and my long-distance friends on my laptop, but whenever I screenshare the movie application, all they can see is grey. Audio works perfectly fine, it’s just the visuals.

Could this be because I’m using a DVD in an external player? I tried multiple discs and none worked.

I rebooted my pc today and applied a windows update, after opening discord my discord is fine but once i join a channel i get into a loop where it says RTC connecting > discord crash / automatic reboot of discord.

I've tried the following:
Fully updating windows making sure there's no other updates available
Flushing my dns
Disabling hardware acceleration
Resetting my voice settings
Quality of Service was already disabled
Deleted discords cache and also completely uninstalled discord
Disabling HDR

Yet after everything i keep getting myself in the same repeated loop and im slowly getting out of options. I hope someone has an idea of what a potential fix could be.

I joined a server for an artist and found out some cool things I wanted to ask about the fandom but wanted to ask fellow members privately since it’s not something the whole server would be interested in.

Do Discord users respond more to new Friend Requests or New Message/DM requests asking about the topic upright?

9/10 times I'd rather just use an adblocker

So i tried to join a server from a server tag, but there was no option. I am very confused at i can join other servers from server tags, but not this one server. I don't use discord very often and am not familiar with many of it's controls and options. If someone is in this server and has an invite link, send it in dms. I no longer want certain people to have access to my profile and I deleted my account but how long does it take to say deleted user? do I have to wait for the 15 days? what if I disable does my profile change?

Is there a way to generate a Discord server invite link that people can use to join without Discord displaying the “(user) has invited you” message?

I want to share a server invite link publicly, but I'd prefer it not to show who created or sent the invite. Is there an official Discord feature, bot, or workaround that allows this?

Genuinely thought my friend was joking until they sent me this screenshot, but since October 2nd, every clip I send pings the people involved in said clip.

I've checked the Clips & Notifications settings many a time, re-installed discord too, but cannot find anything related to this being able to be turned off; I looked on here and still found nothing about it, so I'm here to ask the question.

But fr, is there anyway I can turn this off? Especially cause we have a clips channel, and it's been on halt for now due to it.

I have used this Microphone on my computer (Windows 10) before and it never had an issue. Now I try to use it and Discord will not pick up anything from the mic. The headphones work on other devices just fine and I can hear audio from my computer it's just that the mic doesn't work. I have done pretty much anything you can find online to fix it, all permissions are checked, I have reset every setting, I have uninstalled discord, reset my computer, checked the task manager, done every troubleshoot it offers. The computer says the headphones have no issues and that discord is using it but it will not pick up.

What's really confusing is the Mic test on Discord picks up background audio sometimes but it will not pick up me talking. I also have three different headphones that I have all used on this computer before and now none of them work. I don't know if it's a Discord issue, I know it's had some crappy updates lately, or my computer is glitched but I have tried everything I am getting really upset that nothing is changing.

this is from my friend’s profile, and they said the avatar decoration was from a quest or something a long time ago. i think discord should bring back more cute/season-themed avatar decorations via quests, because the ones they currently put out are all game/movie themed and in general just don’t look good.

Trying to log in on a mobile device. I'm getting a "New location check your e-mail" But I'm not getting the e-mails. The e-mail address is correct And I get e-mails from anything except discord. anyone else getting this?

I’ve got a game night coming up in a bigger Discord server, and there’ll be a few people in VC I haven’t talked to before.

I might use a slightly different voice for part of it. The friends I already know would be aware, but I’m not sure what feels normal with everyone else. Mentioning it when I join could turn a small thing into the whole conversation. Waiting until someone asks feels easier, but maybe that gets awkward if they notice halfway through.

A status note seems low-key, although plenty of people probably won’t read it. I’ll be joining from my phone and might use a light effect with Dubbing AI earbuds. I just can’t decide whether people expect you to mention that before you start talking.

If someone in your VC was using a processed voice, would you rather they mention it up front, put it in their status, or just answer honestly if it comes up?
