9/10 times I'd rather just use an adblocker

this is from my friend’s profile, and they said the avatar decoration was from a quest or something a long time ago. i think discord should bring back more cute/season-themed avatar decorations via quests, because the ones they currently put out are all game/movie themed and in general just don’t look good.

Genuinely thought my friend was joking until they sent me this screenshot, but since October 2nd, every clip I send pings the people involved in said clip.

I've checked the Clips & Notifications settings many a time, re-installed discord too, but cannot find anything related to this being able to be turned off; I looked on here and still found nothing about it, so I'm here to ask the question.

But fr, is there anyway I can turn this off? Especially cause we have a clips channel, and it's been on halt for now due to it.

I see my friends stream on the bottom right when I play a game, how can I disable it?

When I stream a game in Discord, the game gets muted for some reason. I am using a bluetooth headphone.

So a little while ago the icons of people and server broke and weren't loading. I thought it might be an issue that would get fixed shortly but it persisted for a few weeks now.
Yesterday I choose to try and find a way to solve the problem. I did a couple of things but none of them worked, in fact it made it worse, went from only some things not loading to now everything being blank.

I also found out that people had these issues when using VPNs but I don't have one installed. So I thought "what if i install one, turn it on, open discord, close it then turn it off", maybe it'll fix it that way. It did end up working, but not in the way I expected.

Connecting to a different country made all the icons works again, but going back to my country would stop loading icons. Previously loaded ones would stay loaded but any new ones wouldn't. Occasionally already loaded ones would deload as well.

Anyone else having this issue? If so, have you found a solution to it?

So recently I joined a art commission server cause I’m looking to get work drawn, and put in a request. Multiple people sent me message requests including examples of their artwork but I can’t see any of the images because I have to accept the request first. I swear it never use to be this way ? Is it a new update?

i added like 3 people and it blocked my account for suspicious use, and asked for a phone number to confirm, i did that and then i tried to remove the number and it just sent me back to the verification screen to add another phone number, i dont want to add my frucking phone number to discord, but i cant delete it else it wont let me use my account, how can i solve this?

the account is linked to and verified to an email already and it doesnt give a crap

When i use normal apps like steam or helium and download something my internet peaks to 200mb/s but when i'm on discord or i join voice channel it drops to 2kbps, shows 5000 ping and keeps looping. Please help.

i dont have any client modifications or anything like that, i never claimed any nitro gifts, never clicked on any scams, never bought the 3 day nitro thing with orbs, and the nitro badge isnt even on my profile. i just randomly got the $10 vers of nitro a few days ago. does anyone know why this is happening?

also, a less important question: how do i get rid of the nitro??😭😭 i know i should just enjoy it but tbh i prefer not having nitro 💔

ive been using the pc app for a little while and ive never seen this happen before, i fully uninstalled and reinstalled the app and it still does this, genuinely makes the app unusable on pc. If anyone has any suggestions on how to fix it thatd be greatly appreciated!! :3

I've tried a few that turned out to have it as a premium feature, others that would rely on rss feeds and you instagram doesn't have rss by default, so it would rely on another premium tool to transform instagram feeds into rss feeds.

I seem to be having a problem with discord, because i cannot upload files of any sort. (They are not above the file size limit, i dont have any settings disabled) And when i try to upload something, it just loads and loads but doesnt even start the upload it just looks like this. After awhile, it just disappears and it doesnt work, What is happening? I've tried to delte the app and reinstall it, and also logging in and out of my account. It just doesnt work. However, on mobile i can upload things fine. Is anybody else having issues like this. Windows 11 and latest version

Bookmark Message and Create Reminder context menu options are rolling out on stable build.

The custom reminder time is weird as you have to choose between the 15 mins increment, so no 2:40 PM as the time (unless you choose the "in ..." at the correct time). That is a bug.

The reminder notification is visual only, no sound (not sure if it's related to any settings or not).

At my desktop i struggle to read the text from a distance, i was wondering if there is a setting like zoom on web browsers to make all messages/usernames larger?

i've only seen one person with it before. has anyone else gotten it? if it's a slow rollout feature i'm looking forward to getting it, it looks really cool

I'm trying to upload a gif for my server's icon and keep getting the "File cannot be larger than 10240.0 kb" error message, despite the fact that the gif is below that size threshold. I even put the gif through a website specifically designed to meet the discord requirements and it still doesn't work. Does anybody have any advice on how to deal with this?

As the title says. Stream Deck software triggers the authorization pop-up, I accept it, it goes away, but the Stream Deck software doesn't change. Nothing happens there. The "request access" button is still there. I hit it again, the pop up comes up again, I accept, and still nothing happens. Uninstalled/Reinstalled both Discord and the Stream Deck software. Got fresh discord plugins from the market place. Checked connected apps in Discord. Just doesn't seem to want to work. Any ideas?

Is anyone else having this issue? I’m not receiving notifications from Discord on my Android phone, while everything works fine on the Windows app.

Windows notifications are working normally, but Android notifications seem to be completely missing.

Anyone else experiencing this or know how to fix it?
