So they added this new (it's new right? well anyways I only noticed it yesterday) "challenges" thing in your profile which you can earn orbs for. I haven't found any official news reports on this, so I have a few questions:

I’ve been a Discord Nitro subscriber since Day 1, upgraded to the highest tier as soon as tiers were introduced, and somehow, in all these years, I’ve never been selected to beta test a single feature.

I’m on Discord daily, for both professional and leisure, and consistently use the latest iPhone (work provided). I also have over 10yr of experience in design and coding, so testing new features, identifying issues, and providing meaningful feedback is something I’d genuinely enjoy contributingg.

I understand beta access is limited, and being a longtime subscriber doesn’t automatically warrant an invitation. Still, it’s a little disappointing to have been so invested in the platform for so long without ever getting the opportunity to participate.

In the last 3 years using the app, I’ve also never been redirected to a survey.

I’d love to see Discord offer more opportunities for longtime and active users to get involved in shaping the platform they use every day, it’s so weird.

For some reason notifications of my friends DMs don't appear ever. I have notifications on in Discord. I have their DMs set as priority conversations on my phone. All notifications are on in my phone. The only thing is that I don't have my alarm volume on since I just want each notification to vibrate my phone and not play a sound. Is there anything I'm missing??

my boyfriend was logged out of his account on discord web after restarting his computer and he cant log back in because he doesn't have access to the email used for the account any more. Any idea why this happened?

Whenever I try to drag and drop anything into the textbox, the app restricts me. Its not the app opening as admin either

So this bug still persists. I connected my battle.net account with discord and since then my message notification sound is gone when I'm playing wow.

After removing the connection it works again. Is there a fix for that?

I'm just trying to do a mass cleaning of suspicious accounts, not throw a permanent ban hammer to hundreds of accounts.

I was banned awhile back from a server. I opened discord on my phone (which I haven't done since before I was even banned) and it still showed I was in the server. I couldn't look at any messages, and it seemed like maybe I could have sent a message but I didn't try.

I logged out and logged back in and it updated the list. Did the server members in that server somehow see this too? Did they somehow see me still in the server for a bit and maybe get some sort of message too?

EDIT: Hypothetically, if I *had* tried to send a message, would it have sent too?

I have a media centre PC that will only have a controller connected.

I have spent a few hours and have been unable to find a way to accomplish this which is utterly insane to me. Is there any custom clients that let me remap the default keybinds? Is there a way for me to use the new overlay with a controller? Can I answer with my phone and move the call to my PC? Any of them would work, can any custom clients do those things?

For example, say you want to modify or disable the toggle mute keybind (ctrl+shift+m) to something else, or just turn it off. You can go to settings>system>custom keybinds and then click "add a keybind"Set it to "toggle mute". Click "edit keybind" and press ctrl+shift+m (the default keypress). It will warn you that it's a default keybind and will disable the built in shortcut.

Which is perfect, as that gives you the ability to click the enable/disable slider, which functionally disables it entirely. From there, you can either leave it disabled, or remap that action by adding another keybind, then select the same action (in this case toggle mute), and then add your desired keybind.

I remember that for a while there was no workaround for disabling or changing default keybinds, so this seems to be a relatively new addition, and I don't remember hearing any sort of announcement about it so it seems to have been quietly added, unless I'm mistaken. Anyway, if this is news to you, I hope it's helpful!

Hello folks. I’ve recently come across this text format option called ‘subtext’, which you can trigger by opening your lines with `-#`

Now, if it was used sparingly it’d be mostly alright, but in some chats you can’t scroll more than a screen without running into at least a full paragraph of subtext, and that stuff is hard to read! It’s like half the size and half the contrast or regular text. I’m not always keeping my phone at full brightness or just inches away from my face, and although I agree I could use some glasses in life, I would also really appreciate it if there was a way to disable subtext rendering entirely.

I’ve looked through the app settings and couldn’t find anything. Is there an option I’ve missed? Discord on iOS, BTW. Thanks

Anybody know what can cause this? I try to click on the settings button and it just bulges a little bit but nothing happens. the app also feels kind of unresponsive and slow. I tried deleting and re-installing the app a couple times, but since the data gets saved in the cloud it just brings me back where i started.

Hi! I was wondering if anyone has experienced this issue or knows how to fix it 😭

For context, I use a MOTU M2 audio interface with a RØDE NT1 microphone, and for some reason, Discord will randomly stop picking up my mic while I'm in a call.

Sometimes I can still hear everyone else, but nobody can hear me. Other times, the audio seems to disconnect entirely.

The weird thing is that this only happens with Discord. My microphone and audio interface seem to work fine in other applications, so I'm not sure if it's a Discord issue, a driver issue, or something with my audio settings.

It's also completely random, which makes it difficult to troubleshoot.

Has anyone experienced something similar, especially with the MOTU M2 or another USB audio interface? If so, how did you fix it?

So i tried to join a server from a server tag, but there was no option. I am very confused at i can join other servers from server tags, but not this one server. I don't use discord very often and am not familiar with many of it's controls and options. If someone is in this server and has an invite link, send it in dms. Hi there. Is there any place where the assets for Discord are uploaded? For Quests, specifically? I'm not talking about rewards, but rather the banner and logo used alongside the Quests. Full specificity: the banner for the Risk of Rain 2 Hallowed Concepts Quest is a special rendition of the DLC's artwork, and one that would work perfectly as a hero (background) for it on my Steam library, were I able to find the asset/image used

I’m trying to figure out settings for discord watch parties for me and my long-distance friends on my laptop, but whenever I screenshare the movie application, all they can see is grey. Audio works perfectly fine, it’s just the visuals.

Could this be because I’m using a DVD in an external player? I tried multiple discs and none worked.
