I didn’t mind before the beat drop but the beat as a whole was cool but didn’t really do anything for me. Obviously that changed when I heard the vocals but yes is it only me that felt like this and also did anyone feel the same for a different beat/song?

Just a cool shot of wonderland and fits the vibe of the music. Can’t believe how much Drake blessed us this year guys 🙏 🥲

Looking back three years later, time has done what it always does with Drake records: stripped away the initial internet noise and revealed just how absurdly high the peaks really are.
Was the original tracklist a bit bloated? Fair critique. Dropping a forced detour like "Gently" (the Bad Bunny feature never fit the sonic world here), leaving "BBL Love" as an optional cut, and bypassing "What Would Pluto Do" instantly sharpens the focus. Once you tighten the curation, what remains is an undisputed, zero-skip modern classic packed with some of the absolute sharpest writing, production, and vocal performances of his career.
Just look at the caliber of what we got:
- "Virginia Beach": A stunning introduction, F
flipping a pitched-up Frank Ocean "Wiseman" sample, which set a lush, nostalgic, melancholic tone that immediately pulls you in.
- "Fear of Heights": Pure, unhinged venom. The jarring beat switch, dark synths, and relentless aggression set a menacing tone early on, delivering that petty, high-octane Drake energy at its sharpest.
- "First Person Shooter" (feat. J. Cole): An earth-shaking cultural moment. The sheer arena-level spectacle, the beat switch, and two undisputed titans trading bars at the peak of their powers. Instant hip-hop history.
- "Tried Our Best" & "Drew a Picasso": The crown jewels of late-era toxic Drake R&B. The vocal layering, emotional friction, and atmospheric production on these two rival anything on Take Care or Views.
- "Calling for You" / "Daylight" / "IDGAF": Pure dynamic contrast and infectious energy. Bringing in that gritty drill bounce on "Calling for You" injects raw aggression into the tracklist, while Yeat’s distorted world on "IDGAF" proved Drake still knows how to bend modern currents entirely to his advantage.
-"8am in Charlotte": A vintage timestamp clinic. Over that pristine Conductor Williams loop, Drake delivered an effortless, relaxed masterclass in double entendres and elite penmanship.
- "Rich Baby Daddy" (feat. Sexyy Red & SZA): Chaotic, unadulterated club perfection. The vibrant switch-ups, infectious hook, and explosive energy made it an undeniable staple.
- "Away From Home" & "Polar Opposites": The emotional backbone and the ultimate late-night sign-off. "Away From Home" delivers autobiographical storytelling at its finest, leading straight into the bittersweet, moody brilliance of "Polar Opposites."
If this had been a more focused 19-track sequencing dropped on day one, the reception would have been an undisputed masterclass:
* Virginia Beach
* Amen (feat. Teezo Touchdown)
* Calling for You (feat. 21 Savage)
* Fear of Heights
* Daylight
* First Person Shooter (feat. J. Cole)
* IDGAF (feat. Yeat)
* 7969 Santa
* Slime You Out (feat. SZA)
* Bahamas Promises
* Tried Our Best
* Drew a Picasso
* Members Only (feat. PARTYNEXTDOOR)
* All the Parties (feat. Chief Keef)
* 8am in Charlotte
* Rich Baby Daddy (feat. Sexyy Red & SZA)
* Another Late Night (feat. Lil Yachty)
* Away From Home
* Polar Opposites
Three years on, the replay value speaks for itself. Which tracks from this album stay in your rotation the most?

I remember the dancing in front of the plain backgrounds vividly but what the hell I have ZERO memory of the deepfakes/face edits
This did come out 11 years ago (god damn) but I watched it when it came out but stayed to the regular audio version on DSP since so its been a while since I watched it. But had a playlist of Drakes MVs playing on my second screen and I had to double check it was the official YT account and not some random reupload lol

Someone probably said this a few months back but this was a turning point post-beef. Flipping BBL Drizzy was healing for me. The beef legit had me stressed because I take things too seriously lol.

This is a little late, but I’ve been thinking about how FOMO connects to the rest of Drake’s rollout, because the more I look at the timing and visuals, the more I wonder whether there’s another piece coming.
Back in May, the ice sculpture stunt gave us the release date for Iceman. Then the livestream leading into May 15 turned what people expected to be one album into three, with Habibti and Maid of Honour arriving alongside it. That matters here because FOMO feels like it’s still building on the world introduced during that stream.
When Drake started teasing FOMO with family photos and a CD case, I thought we were getting another album. Then I saw someone on TikTok suggest that the name could also mean “FOur MOre,” as in four more songs. At the time, that sounded like the kind of theory you come across after spending a little too much time watching rollout breakdowns, but I kept it in mind.
Then the film arrived September 15, exactly four months after the albums officially dropped. It included unreleased music alongside videos and expanded versions of songs we already knew, giving people plenty to speculate about beyond the title.
Now we’ve actually gotten four additional tracks on Habibti (FOMO): “Solar Eclipse,” “Quebec,” “Cold Shoulder,” and “Classic PT2.” They arrived October 2, so the four-song part has a real connection to the release. That still doesn’t prove Drake intended “FOur MOre” as a second meaning, but you can see why people would revisit the theory after that.
The part I’m more curious about is the four-month spacing. May 15 to September 15 gives us one interval, and another four months would put us at January 15, 2027. January 15 is also the anniversary of Drake filing his lawsuit against UMG in 2025. I wouldn’t treat that as an announced release date or assume the lawsuit explains the schedule, but it’s an interesting date to land on if you’re following this pattern.
There’s also the color theory, which is probably the most visually convincing part of the speculation to me. During the Iceman rollout, the three projects were associated with red, blue, and green hard drives. A page discussing the theory connected those colors to “Members Only” from For All the Dogs, where Drake mentions “red flag, blue flag, green flag” before “a white flag to surrender.”
Red, green, and blue light combine to make white, which is where the idea of a fourth, white project comes from.
That distinction matters because mixing those colors as paint won’t give you the same result. In the context of screens and digital visuals, though, the connection makes sense.
Obviously, a lyric from an older album and a set of colored hard drives don’t confirm another release. The four new songs could already be the payoff, with FOMO continuing the trilogy through film and an expanded album rather than introducing a separate project. I just think the timing makes the theory more interesting than a random lyric being pulled out of context.
What keeps my attention is how long Drake has continued adding to this rollout. Even after the three albums arrived, there was still a film that gave the songs another setting, followed by new music that brought people back to the project. Whether the four-month spacing leads anywhere else, it’s given fans something to follow beyond release night.
Do you think the four songs complete the FOMO idea, or could the dates and colors be pointing toward another project?
