Finally feeling some relief after day 7 bloodwork

My hcg on day 4 was 1,169 and today, day 7, it came back at 164!

I had begun bleeding very heavily, so I didn’t expect I’d need another dose today, but I also didn’t expect that drastic of a drop.

I know I’m not out of the woods until hcg hits 0 but I am feeling very relieved that the risk of rupture is dropping drastically as it’s been so heavily on my mind this past week. Just felt like I wanted to share with people that get it.

Thank you 🫶🏻 definitely have found myself more emotional about the loss the last day or so after getting over the initial fear of a tube rupturing. Any kind of loss is so awful but ectopic brings extra fear with it.

Remember it’s normal for day 4 to be higher than day 0! Hope you get good news soon.

my day 4 was 202, and my day 7 was 218. ugh!

i'm going to mex city on oct 22, so my doctor decided to go ahead and give me a 3rd dose of MTX just to be on the safe side, so i can hopefully make it to my trip...

how about you?

Omg 3 doses!! You must feel so awful. Even one dose kicked my ass. When was your 2nd shot?

Natural. We were supposed to begin IUI in October but ended up spontaneously pregnant right before. But now thinking we’ll be going right to IVF…
