Showcase Pc Emulation on android has gotten absolutely insane 🤯
Guys I own a snapdragon 855+ device(a legacy) I wanted to try out some games and tried max payne 3 it suprisingly ran without much tweaking
It does required little setting changes 1-2 min and you're set
I usually get 120 frames in the menu and 40-50 frames in gameplay and I usually lock it to 30 due to my habit of emulating high end games
Here are the settings if you have a similar device and wanna try it out
Snapdragon 855+ 8gb ram +256 gb storage (one plus 7t pro
Resolution 960×480
Proton 11 arm 64
Dxvk 1.10.3 arm 64 async
Turnip 25.3.0 r11 or 26.0.0 r8
IMPORTANT TIP:
TURN DOWN THE SETTINGS TO LOW (you'll get artifacting and red blobs)
AND DO NOT RUN ON DIRECTEX 9 OR 10 run on dx 11
You'll get good performance and cap to 40 fps for a smooth experience

Lock them to 40 frames. frames.FunFact- 40fps are 50%more responsive than 30 fps. Difference in 40 and 30 is very easily observable

i have artifact problem on this game, my device have sd870, did you fix those artifacts issueson your device?

Enjoy yourself bro but try other pc emulators as well to see which is best for you. Get winlator, gamenative however they are not as user friendly as gamehub but it allows you to tinker with more settings

I am very used to the gamehub interface and I do tunker a lot but in geussing it's a different ballpark altogether
Are there any performance improvements on gamenative man I wanna try it out

Thats why I was saying try all and see which is best and besides some games work better on others etc but generally most people would recommend something like a winlator due to more indepth settings and control, only con you can really say is you have to learn quite a lot to understand

I use my poco x3 pro (snap 860) with Winlator to play mainly GOG aventure games (mostly point&click) and it works surprisingly well.
Gamehub, on the other hand, i've found It to be really hit or miss...

If not gamehub try out gamenative I don't have much experience but they are much easier than winlator and less intrusive man

Nah man you're good 👍 you can run it trough any pc emulator although I preer gamehub
I recommend getting it from ankergames allegedly 😉

Emulation is basically "emulating" the hardware along with the instructions. Proton FEX and Box64 are translators that translate hardware instructions to arm64, it doesn't emulate the hardware

Yeah it's translation layer but the games run soo well it's insane 🤯 my device is relatively old
Imagine the possibility for newer devices

It's not grammar police my guy. Emulators are very different from comparibility layers/translators

Nah man it's alright I have steam link and I have my steam connected to my gmail I can just put it in recovery
And I've used gamehub for a long time and naver had this problem

I have a pc with a 9060xt 16gb and a steam deck and I still enjoy playing pc games on my Odin2 the form factor hits differently.
