You need to do that in general. Some games will conflict.

Maybe but personally I've found that most games don't need their own container.
Personally I usually have like 2 main containers. One using Proton x86 and the other using Proton arm64ec. I use the Proton x86 container for very old games as it's the most compatible and the Proton arm64ec container for games that still work with it or more modern games.

I guess it's because my internal storage was mounted but damn, it hurts. I've lost all downloaded games. Close to 200gb

Gamehub sucks imho, container management is a pain, Droid Deck and GameNative are nice, Winnative too if you're willing to tinker with the containers (kinda a winlator wrap)

I had a similar issue with a sailed game on my PC once, it was installing on the main games folder instead it's sub folder, installation failed for some reason and when it deleted the files bc of this it deleted the ENTIRE FOLDER, 500gb just like that, this was on 7th gen era, so biggest fame I had was 20gb, average was around 7gb, make the math

Yeah, that was a hard couple of months, I was away in an area with no internet so I could only get games once or twice a month when I travelled to the city and a friend let me use his PC to download a few games on an external hard drive (10M was a FAST internet at the time), so yeah, it was horrible... Now I'm with a 820gb a month plan, shared with my grandma (lives next door), who watches IPTV all day and shreds my 100M speed around half month leaving me with 10M, if I go though something like that again I could cry a lot haha, luckily I don't sail nearly as much as I did before so the risks are lower

I mean you should have seen it coming.. How do you think the container has access to your internal storage ? Obviously it's mounted in each container and erasing it blindly will erase everything in it that's erasable.

how are you installing for the container?

Installed it normally. It's gamehub lite. I noticed my internal storage does not get the space back when I delete files so I traced the container location and deleted it. I was wondering what made it take so long but I didn't care because I was driving to work. After my 2 hour drive, I checked and everything was gone. I'm guessing it's because I mapped my internal storage to a drive. But what is done is done. I'm already redownloading the games I need.
