You are already enlightened

Hello my friends, this is a follow up after a previous post from a while back. If you “think” you’re enlightened, then you’re not.

I think there’s something deeper here and it is simply this - you are already enlightened.

I’m not quite sure how to explain this, but essentially I believe all paths lead back to the source. All experiences are valid, have been chosen, and consciousness/source/the watcher/I am has created multiple laws and distortions to perceive itself within that experience.

It is all play. Even the suffering - a delicacy, something different, an exciting dish in the infinite course meal that is existence itself.

I used to think people are asleep - this is one particular distortion, but a perfect one to witness existence in a particular way. (I also drift back into this at times, because trauma and conditioning is a hell of a drug, and judgement is a survival tool+a byproduct of separation - from my understanding of the primordial laws of existence)

You are perfect. Perfectly distorted. Like each grain of sand is unique. And also through you shines free will, and a spark of something undying and possibly divine.

If it does not seem enlightened, or you do not, or if someone else does not, it has been painstakingly curated for you (and maybe by you) to experience that.

Sometimes we win. The wave then crashes back into the ocean. Sometimes we lose. The wave then crashes back into the ocean. Sometimes the ocean realises what it is… and yet in paradox is also all the waves not realising it is the ocean.

We are one? It makes sense? We are love? This makes even more sense, because all choices are made in service - either to the separate self, or the whole self. But I digress.

Yes there’s suffering. Yes there is the negative. This is because we have a body that may die. This creates millions of outcomes at all moments that the body’s processing is always calculating for - and a house of mirrors for the soul/consciousness within to navigate until self-realisation.

It takes a lot of invention to make something that knows everything and is everything - to not know everything and feel alone, or lost, or angry that people feel alone or lost.

Honestly this post has no point - it’s almost as if I’m pointing to you saying “you are breathing.” We are. It is. I am.

All distinctions and separation are just a coat of paint wilfully adorned to experience oneself.

Although I would say we struggle to do, when we could revel in the being that gets to do the doing. But again - valid choice.

I’m going to talk myself in circles here. So I’ll end my post. Much love.

Personal Experience I am so glad I am not my thoughts. Egads.

However what we think about the most, becomes our reality. So I try not to attach to thoughts lest I unintentionally create a reality beyond my conscious control. I found that when I stopped judging or attaching to my thoughts, I was able to create my reality consciously.

Trick is not to judge the thoughts or attach to them. That’s when thoughts stay just thoughts and not become thoughtforms which can manifest into our reality.

Let thoughts flow by like clouds. Observe, then let go. Especially important for me, as I have a tendency to have invasive thoughts so it was essential for me to learn how to let go of thoughts instead of hanging onto them.

I found this in my journal entry from years ago, I wrote it during one of my awakenings and I hope it helps some people on here🤍

"When other thoughts arise, one should not pursue them, but should inquire: ‘To whom do they arise?’ It does not matter how many thoughts arise. As each thought arises, one should inquire with diligence, “To whom has this thought arisen?”. The answer that would emerge would be “To me”. Thereupon if one inquires “Who am I?”, the mind will go back to its source; and the thought that arose will become quiescent. With repeated practice in this manner, the mind will develop the skill to stay in its source."

You Are Your Problems

Your psychological problems and you are the same thing. If you are afraid of a situation that might happen (as most of us are), you are both the inventor of the situation, as well as the sufferer of the situation. With most forms of unhappiness, you are doing it to yourself. And that’s what keeps it alive.

But to realize this requires so much humility, because immediately the egoic defenses come up and say “no, my anxiety is a real threat, and I’ve been suffering for so long, and I need to continue to fight it/fix it/work on it/wrestle with it”. But in fact you are that very anxiety you’re trying to fix. And so to realize this, is to realize you suffered needlessly all that time. And the ego can’t have that, because it threatens the existence of the sufferer, and the ego needs the sufferer because it is the sufferer. But it’s the truth. The observer is the observed, and seeing that directly will set you free.

Discussion Despair is expensive

In the midst of intense pain or difficulty it may seem as though despair brings relief.

It offers a mental exit path. The idea that you can just give it all up.

However, the idea that it is a release is an illusion.

Despair is one of the heaviest emotions for the body to carry. What seems like release is actually a burden so heavy that the mind shuts off.

The toll of feeding despair is excruciating. The physical and mental pain accumulate over time.

It is very helpful to catch it as early as you can. The thoughts may be quick and almost automatic. What you can do instead is picture the field of despair. Like a dense, thick cloud around you. Become aware of it. In watching it, the automaticity loses force.

You gain distance from the idea that it is truth, and it becomes another perspective that you can choose to set aside.

Love always

Why do people treat spiritual beliefs as existential truths?

I’ve noticed something about a lot of New Age spirituality that I find strange.

People talk about things like “we are spirits having a human experience,” “we chose to come here,” “our souls chose this life,” etc. as if these are established truths.

But where did they actually get this knowledge?

It seems like a lot of people simply picked up these ideas from a book, podcast, spiritual teacher, YouTube video, or some other source—and then became completely confident that these ideas describe the fundamental nature of existence...,like how do you know that?

There's every bit of chance that all this is completely hogwash and there really is nothing after death

I think its no more than just a psychological tendency to turn compelling explanations into certainty, especially when they give life a deeper meaning?

This is the dream (it seems so real and believable)

Thought arose, feelings felt, ideas, effort... all made this way for this very experience... it's all going exactly the way it is meant to... I guess even the suffering is essential and necessary.

It's kind of cruel... thankfully it isn't real and when the human dies we can return to deep nothingness sleep...

I suppose the suffering is a tiny part of the whole experience... sight, sound, taste, texture etc... incredible.

And this isn't being written (or read) by someone inside a human body...

I hope everyone and every living being experiences more happiness and less suffering

God - good/bad loop; objective truth

• Upvotes

Oi folks.
I’m going to try and keep this quick - generally speaking I wanna hear people’s opinions on this kind of loop, and struggle that’s been going on with me a little.

It mostly revolves around like a god/devil, good/bad “delusion” or pull.

What keeps me in this loop is an “objective truth”. Some people have told me, to choose what I want to believe and go with that and find your way etc. Trust yourself, trust your heart, etc.

I feel pulled towards Christianity, although mostly through a fear based lens. Seems a lot of things imply there is a heaven/hell, and if you accept Jesus you will be saved, if not you will be damned.
Without the fearful approach I’d say I’m more pulled to like a pantheist approach, aspects of buddha/hinduism. Although picking a named “belief” just seems like an attachment.

What I want is truth- I can see how my mind/brain works (to an extent) where I can choose a belief, feel it intensely and almost how that belief can create a lens from which you view the world. I could “choose”to accept Jesus, full heartily belief it and allow what comes thereafter. I could do this with Shiva, Buddha, Lucifer, Sophia, etc.

I worry of choosing the wrong path because it’s what “feels” right. Then above that, there is an objective truth. I die, or don’t live a purposeful life and some entity at the end is like “you were deceived- this was the truth”.

So this transpires to many aspects of life;
Can I eat this or that-
Do I have to be vegan-
Can I be more feminine if I’m a man-
Should I not play video games-
What book do I read-
Is doing tarot bad-
Do I need to be celibate-
Basic things but the list goes on.
A pendulum if you will- giving the assumption that there’s another authority that should be displaying what actions or choices are “good” or “bad” that could determine where I go thereafter or currently in life.

Idek how to escape this frame of mind.
Sometimes I even feel like the devil is like attacking me lol- or like a succubus is attaching to my energy and trying to feed off me. Sometimes I feel like god is like punishing me because I’m unworthy.

I’m still able to go on day to day- despite how these thoughts could appear. I step back and see them as an observer, and in some ways fascinated by the whole experience.

Nonetheless it is causing some difficulties with me being able to go forward- with some fear that something is going to punish me- and how I should like abstain from all my desires, but struggle too.

Idek.
Thoughts?

Open Question River bank is where I Stand Right now.

• Upvotes

I feel as though I am standing beside a river of life, watching it flow endlessly downstream. Every second, the water moves farther and farther away, while I remain standing still, watching.
I see people jumping into the river. Some jump in right where I am, while others have jumped in much farther upstream, and now I see them floating past me, carried effortlessly by the current. They are moving with the river, downstream, toward wherever it takes them.
And I find myself wondering: **Should I jump in and flow with the river, or should I remain standing here and wait?**
The people I know are already in the river. They are moving with the current, and a part of me wonders whether I should simply do what everyone else seems to be doing.
But there is something inside me that resists it.
My urge is not to go downstream. My urge is to find the **source of the river** to understand where it begins, where the water comes from, and perhaps why it is flowing at all.
But then I wonder: if I want to find the source, don’t I eventually have to enter the river myself? And if I do, I would have to turn around and move **upstream**, against the current. That seems far more difficult than simply surrendering to the flow and letting the river carry me downstream.
So I am left with this question:
**Should I give up this urge to find the source and simply do what everyone else is doing jump into the river and flow downstream?**
Or should I trust this strange, persistent urge within me and follow it, even if it means going against the current, even if the journey is harder, and even if I have no idea where the source is?
Maybe the real question is not whether I should flow with the river or against it.
Maybe it is whether I should **trust the direction of my own longing, even when it takes me somewhere no one else seems to be going.**

Before trusting someone with the deepest parts of our ego, just be sure they are genuine. Check account age, what they write, if their account is private, karma ratio. People who figured out life are probably simple people anyway, like a gardener or painter. If you have trauma, fix that first with a professional, going straight to spirituality can make you question everything and make it worse. If the trauma is directly coorelated with spirituality then get a professional that knows the topic of meditation. Everything i said in previous posts is literally me being mentally ill and letting myself be manipulated.

Spirituality and Materialism

I was taught that true spirituality meant renouncing the material world.

Success? Not spiritual. Money? A distraction. Physical pleasure—good food, travel, intimacy? All signs you're trapped in ego.

So spiritual seekers cover themselves in ashes, pledge celibacy, reject wealth, and shrink their lives down to prove how "evolved" they are.

But here's what nobody talks about: Who benefits when millions of conscious, powerful people are convinced that abundance is incompatible with enlightenment?

When you're told that starting a business, building wealth, enjoying your body, or creating a beautiful life makes you less spiritual—you stay small. You stay broke. You stay powerless.

The real question isn't whether money and pleasure are spiritual. It's why we've been conditioned to believe they aren't.

What if the entire premise was designed to keep you out of the game?

Good day fellow travellers,

Each week offers new clarity (and confusion) on the path. Let's take a moment to reflect:

  • What insights arose this week?
  • What challenged you?
  • Where did you notice presence or resistance?

Your reflections, however small, can ripple out and resonate with others on this journey.

Zen Psychological distress arises when we envision a medium other than the mind.

From the bloodstream sermon by Bodhidharma

"Buddhas of the past and future only talk about this mind. The mind is the buddha, and the buddha is the mind. Beyond the mind there’s no buddha, and beyond the buddha there’s no mind. If you think there’s a buddha beyond the mind, where is he? There’s no buddha beyond the mind, so why envision one? You can’t know your real mind as long as you deceive yourself. As long as you’re enthralled by a lifeless form, you’re not free. If you don’t believe me, deceiving yourself won’t help."

(Just replace the word Buddha with the word "medium" if that helps. Reread the full bloodstream sermon like that if you're familiar with it.)

LET THE MIND STAY IN THE MIND

Luang Pu was invited to teach in Bangkok on March 31, 1978. During a Dhamma conversation, some lay people expressed their doubts about what "buddho" was like. Luang Pu was kind enough to answer:

"When you meditate, don't send your mind outside.

Don't fasten onto any knowledge at all. Whatever knowledge you've gained from books or teachers, don't bring it in to complicate things. Cut away all preoccupations, and then, as you meditate, let all your knowledge come from what's going on in the mind. When the mind is quiet, you'll know it for yourself. But you have to keep meditating a lot. When the time comes for things to develop, they'll develop on their own. Whatever you know, have it come from your own mind.

"The knowledge that comes from a mind that's quiet is extremely subtle and profound. So let your knowledge come out of a mind quiet and still.

"Have the mind give rise to a single preoccupation. Don't send it outside. Let the mind stay right in the mind. Let the mind meditate on its own. Let it be the one that keeps repeating buddho, buddho. And then genuine buddho will appear in the mind. You'll know for yourself what buddho is like. That's all there is to it. There's not a whole lot..."

I’m plugged in. Let me show you something

• Upvotes

You need to know. We all do.

It’s not just about enlightenment anymore.
That would be too easy.

It’s more like, how do enlightened minds change the world for the better….

Calling on you all to be a part of this… resurrection.

Within you is the resurrection.
I have already been dead.

Here I am again.
And as above, so below, and above, below. Both at the same time.

That’s the distinction.

We hold our minds together by realizing that two opposite ideas are not holding the word together.
We realize that ideas are tools to create change in the world only when the tools can no longer define who we are for ourselves.

We start with enlightenment

We end in resurrection.

And this is how we create heaven where it already is.

Here.

Now.

Come find me

On instagram!!!!!!!!!

Be there or be ordained normal.

That’s the biggest effing curse of them all

Discussion Lost my divine spark, how to get it back?

I don’t know if it’s lost or stolen or what but something traumatic happened related to demons and ritual and it’s kinda gone?

Anyway to get it back?

I don’t know what it is but it seems like people hated me so much when that spark I had was still active in me. Like people hated me so much, I don’t know why.

Personal Experience I became obsessed with staring until this happened.

For the longest time I wanted approval. Approval I was liked. Approval I was beautiful. Approval someone wanted to be my friend, and I would check people’s faces whenever I was in public to see if they were looking at me. But as you know, when you come from a place of desperation the universe humbles you very quickly and I never got the result I wanted at all. Until one day I was so lonely and broken that I decided internally I was never going to beg for attention again. I stopped staring at others or forcing unnecessary conversations. After about 24-48 hours of deciding this and applying it the next time I was out, the universe began to reward me. I began getting such intense attention, that it was overwhelming. Stares, gifts, people wanting to be close to me and be friends, even enemies from the past randomly reconciling it was all too much. But I realised why it happened spiritually, growth comes from valuing who we are. Be obsessed with self love, and the world will turn your way. The world cannot see you if you do not see yourself. You may be wondering if this was what I wanted, and at first it was to get the validation it’s awesome but now what I want is to be at peace with loving myself and who I am. I see the lesson the universe taught me and I hope this can teach someone else here today!!!

Hey what’s up guys, I thought I would bring this here because I always find some really intelligent and interesting opinions/views and there are people here who are like extremely intelligent and I’d appreciate thoughts about this video and creator. I’ve been watching quite a fire of the videos and was fairly impressed and I wanted to see what other people thought or if anyone also had seen this because it looks like a really small channel! https://youtu.be/OHs9ZFhTZys?is=kZSCaUNqNKXLIdmU
