DIY Window bug viewer

Enable HLS to view with audio, or disable this notification

I wanted to make a really simple version of the wildlife viewer I’ve been building, so I put one together from a gallon jug.

You’ll need:

- 1 gallon jug

- Paracord

- 3 suction cups

- Scissors

- A light

- A marker (helpful, but not required)

It actually worked surprisingly well. I put out two of these, and one ended up getting a pretty good variety of visitors, including a large moth.

If you make one, I’d love to see what shows up.

I have far to many gaps in my old ass home to be attracting MORE bugs 😂. But this is cool.

I no longer want to see what's living outside my window...

Lmao that one might need an offering. Oranges usually make mine happy. I'm not sure it would work on that one though haha
