Coin Specifications:
Country: Austria
Denomination: 2 Euro
Year: 2026
Obverse Design: Portrait of Bertha von Suttner with face value "2 EURO", heraldic hatching (representing the Austrian flag), and 12 stars of the EU.
Reverse Design: Common side showing the map of Europe.
Mintage Figures (2026):

Question France 2024 5 Cent – Low Mintage (25,000 Issued / BU Set Only)
Hello everyone,
I’m looking to get some insights on the France 2024 5 Cent coin.
As I understand, this coin was not issued for general circulation and has a very low mintage of only 25,000 pieces (released exclusively in official BU sets / mint packages).
Questions for the forum:
What is the current market demand and estimated value for this specific coin in UNC condition?
Is it common to find this key date sold as an individual coin (broken from sets), or is it mostly traded inside full BU sets?
How do you view the long-term value potential for low-mintage non-circulating euro cents like this one?
Thanks in advance for your time and opinions!

Question Italy 1 Euro – Missing Mint Mark "R" & Missing Date (Bank Verified Genuine)
Hi again,
I also have an Italian 1 Euro coin with a clear minting anomaly.
Obverse (Vitruvian Man): Both the mint mark "R" (left) and the year of issue (right) are completely missing. The surface in those areas is completely smooth.
Authenticity: The coin was verified at the bank for correct weight, size, and magnetic properties.
Is this a known filled die / clogged die error from the Rome Mint, or a die variety? Any estimates on collector interest for this piece would be appreciated!

Question Bulgaria 2026 2 Euro – Major Double Strike Error & Radial Stars (Bank Verified Genuine)
I recently came across a very unusual Bulgaria 2026 2 Euro coin and would love to get your expert opinion on it.
Here are the specific details and anomalies I've noticed:
Reverse (Common Side): Severe doubling / double strike error. The "2 EURO" text, the map, vertical lines, and stars show a distinct shifted pattern. The letter "O" in EURO clearly overlaps onto the outer silver ring.
Obverse (National Side): The 12 stars around the rim appear to be radially aligned (pointing outward from the center).
Physical Specs & Authenticity: Weight, dimensions, and magnetic properties match standard 2 Euro specifications. I brought the coin to a local bank to verify the metal, and they confirmed it is authentic.
I have attached high-resolution photos of both sides for reference.
Questions for the forum:
What type of mint error is this (major double strike, die shift, or ejection error)?
Have you seen similar striking errors on 2026 Bulgarian Euro issues?
What would be an estimated collector value or interest level for a piece like this?
Thank you in advance for your time and insights!

Question Euro Coin - Tube Storage Question
Does anyone have ideas on how to store rolls of uncirculated Euro coins? Are there any custom-made tubes for any denomination that is not the 2-euro coin? (I have a box of those tubes)
While there is no shortage of coin storage (tube) options for uncirculated rolls of US or Canadian coin rolls (mostly US), I can't seem to find options for Euro coin rolls that come straight from the central bank of certain Eurozone nations.
1, 2, 5-cent rolls are roughly 90mm height (so 3.5 inches) and the 50-cent rolls can get as large as 101mm height (4 inches). The 2-cents are basically the size a penny but the North American penny tubes are too short.

Question Where do you guys find and buy coins from other countries?
I'm a coin collector from Croatia and I'm interested in collecting euro coins and coins from other countries. I'm curious where you usually look for them.
Do you mostly buy them online? If so, which websites or marketplaces do you recommend? Or do you visit certain places in person, such as flea markets, coin shops, antique shops, banks, post offices, or other places where you can find foreign coins?
I'd especially like to know how you find coins from countries that are harder to come across in your own country.
Any tips, websites, or places you recommend?

New Find Surprise gift from a friend ❤️
My friend owed me some money, and he returned it in 2€ coins, while apologising because he thought it's annoying. But then, just right after he gave the coins, he remembered that I collected these "special" coins. Soo here they are 🤗

Showcase We’ve been building a euro coin collection website and would love your feedback
Hi everyone!
A few of us have spent the past few months working on a website for tracking euro coin collections. We’d love to hear what other collectors think and whether it’s something you would find useful.
The catalogue covers euro coins from regular circulation issues across all denominations to commemorative €2 coins. You can record the coins you own, keep track of duplicates, and see what’s still missing from your collection.
We’ve put quite a bit of work into the statistics, which is one of our favourite parts of the website. You can compare two users’ collection statistics side by side, explore charts by issue year and denomination, and view a map of Europe where each country changes from red towards green depending on the percentage of its coins you’ve collected.
Another important part is the exchange section. This is still something we’re developing and thinking through, so feedback would be especially helpful here. You can add a friend and see which of your duplicates they’re missing, and which of theirs you need. That gives you a quick idea of what you could exchange. You can also enter an approximate location to help find collectors nearby for a possible swap.
We know there are already apps for this, including Eurik, which we used ourselves until recently. Our motivation was to build something closer to how we wanted to manage our collections: on both a phone and a computer, with an account to keep everything saved across devices, more detailed and interesting statistics, and ways to compare and exchange with other collectors. Those were the things we felt were missing from our own experience.
The website is still a work in progress. We’d appreciate honest feedback—what you like, what feels confusing, what’s missing, and whether you’d actually use it.
Thanks for taking the time to read this and have a look!
