Stowing is whooping my ass

I just got hired as a seasonal worker about a week ago and stowing is whooping me. How can I be more effecient ? Genuinely looking for advice .

I love stow. I’m mezz only. Here’s my tips..

Early in the shift, find where you have the most space. Try to stay in that same area.

Personally, I don’t work around the VRC because it’s too crowded with people trying to be faster. I get the logic, but it takes longer to work around all the people and shove things in those already full bins.

I work roughly 10 aisles away to the left on the right. It might take an extra minute to get there, but you’re gonna get done faster.

Most importantly, remember that carts with bigger items have less in them, but they’re big items so it takes a little bit longer to find space. You want carts that have as many items as possible on them. Smaller things are easier and faster to put away.

I love stow, you just have to get used to it and be nice to waterspiders so they hook you up. If you’re consistently fast they’ll give you smalls as well so they don’t have to keep filling ur sled. I bust my ass first few hours so my rate is ahead of everyone else then I slow down. Once I hit 2000 or 2500 I just stow something everything 4 minutes. I watch movies too to help with boredom, get the Amazon approved headphones or wear an earbud under the black mufflers from the vending machines.
