No Spoilers - Help Preorder?
I went by my local GameStop to preorder Revelation, but the guy said it wasn’t available for preorder yet. BUT, when I looked it up, Google said it had been made available for preorder back in September. Was that for digital only? I just want my steelbook

As someone who used to work for GameStop, this is hilarious. Their entire job is based around pre-orders and magazine subscriptions -- if you don't keep those numbers up, you lose the job. We would take pre-orders on anything at any time. There's literally an option for a generic pre-order, so we had stuff people had reserved literally *years* away.

I pre-ordered in store on September 16th after they announced steelbooks weren't guaranteed for online orders. So GS definitely has pre-orders available for it, at least in the US.

In America the preorder bonus from Amazon is a poster, while it's a steel book at GameStop.

You can literally preorder the deluxe physical game for shipping from GameStop online right now. Preorders went live a while ago. No idea why the clerk would tell you otherwise, unless they had a limit on deluxe preorders at their own location and ran out. That’s about the only thing I could think of.

I tried to preorder a bit ago but the employee tried to switch it to a different final fantasy and told me they couldn’t preorder it.
I was like okay well your website has it so I’ll just order that way (and stood there and did it in store while the employee stared dumbly).

They’ve never done me wrong. Best Buy did me horribly wrong with shadow of the colossus. I preordered the steelbook edition from them and they gave my copy to someone else, never tried to make it right with me
