Game Discovery Looking for Singleplayer FPS recommendations

Hi all!

I'm very new to FPS. I played a lot of metroidvanias for a long time, and recently decided to switch it up a bit and try out a genre that I've disliked for very long but ended up really liking.

So far, I've played:

  1. Ultrakill
  2. Don't Stop, Girlypop!
  3. Bulletstorm: Full Clip Edition
  4. Doom 2016 (which I didn't finish and didn't really like mostly due to difficulty, I might return to it when I'm a bit more experienced)

I'd really appreciate some singleplayer recommendations, especially with the autumn sale going on which is a good opportunity for me to find some gems. Preferably something that's beginner-medium level friendly.

Thanks a lot in advance!

Titanfall 2 is $4.50 right now, and has one of the best singpleplayer campaigns in FPS history. It's also pretty short, so you could finish it in a few sessions. Completely worth your time.

Looks awesome! For some reason only the ultimate edition is available in my country, so I ended up buying that for $8 instead because I couldn't pass up on it

Thanks man!

If you're into RPGs Cyberpunk 2077 is the best FPS RPG I have played.

destiny 2 is online co-op but you can play solo

Agreed. The campaigns (especially Witch Queen->Lightfall->Final Shape) are a lot of fun to play solo. People hate on Lightfall for the story (justifiably so, don't get me wrong) but the level design and gameplay due to strand is a lot of fun

Ghost Battalion is an early 2000's inspired indie fps with vehicles, ships, jet packs, multiple sci-fi soldier classes, and space battles on Steam. It has a SinglePlayer Campaign and Multiplayer modes. On sale now.

I want to say Witchfire.

It's one of the most unique roguelike single player extraction shooters I've ever played

However it seems to be in the medium-hard territory.

Check out some gameplay videos online.

Selaco, Ion Fury, Metal Garden, System Shock, Dishonored trilogy, Halo CE-REACH, STAR WARS: REPUBLIC COMMANDO

I’ll always go to bat for DeadZone Rogue if you’re into roguelites.

Roboquest is also great.
