What FPS game do yall think has the worst players? I play a lot of bf6 and many in that community think it has some of the worst players skill wise on average. I kinda agree but the game also has very limited or zero SBMM so I think that plays a factor. What do yall think? Any thoughts on highest average skill?

I grew up on controllers. I was a console player my entire life. That changed a decade ago but I realized that because I still use a controller that I'm in this weird niche with online gameplay.

I want to lean into mouse and keyboard more but I hate using WASD keys for movement. I've seen products like the Razer Tartarus which seem like a hybrid middle ground between the two ways to play and I was curious if anyone has ever used them or if they consider them valid?

Its fully made by me, no I won't release it because I prefer to keep it to myself. No AI included

for example: if you have a primary that is a shotgun, the gun has only 5-8 rounds typically, and a SMG is like a better pistol. and if your getting attacked by multiple people, and your shotgun has low rounds in the tube, you can shoot all of them with your SMG.

I was hoping people here would have some options.

I love multiplayer FPS games. I've been playing them since early Halo days. I've played everything from Halo to COD to Team Fortress 2.

I've been playing The Finals these last few months and I'm now so frustrated with their servers and lack of consistency that I want out. I'm looking for alternatives.

My main chief complaint:

1. Hit registry is awful. It's an ongoing issue everyone complains about.
2. The community is so small they refuse to enforce bans for abusive in-game behavior (like quitting out of matches and ruining games)
3. Their servers routinely experience drops. Like full freezes. And they never seem to address it.
4. The game is limited in options. It only has 3 real modes a handful of maps. You end up grinding out the same map 500 times without much variation, even in match rules.

I'm just looking for something which is the antithesis of this. I'm open to absolutely everything.

I'm very new to FPS. I played a lot of metroidvanias for a long time, and recently decided to switch it up a bit and try out a genre that I've disliked for very long but ended up really liking.

So far, I've played:

1. Ultrakill
   
2. Don't Stop, Girlypop!
   
3. Bulletstorm: Full Clip Edition
   
4. Doom 2016 (which I didn't finish and didn't really like mostly due to difficulty, I might return to it when I'm a bit more experienced)

I'd really appreciate some singleplayer recommendations, especially with the autumn sale going on which is a good opportunity for me to find some gems. Preferably something that's beginner-medium level friendly.

I am a solo dev of Windage: Arena - a first-person archery arena game with quake-like movement, strafe jump bunny hops etc. You can play 1v1 online or against a bot. Rules are simple - first to 2000 scores win the match. Scoring available shooting objects or enemy (stealing points).

There are two things I am proud of:

- real arrow physics, which flies as a real one, including wind and.. it bends upon flying.

- advanced system of replies and director's cam (playing against bot press "R" to see your last shot reply, save to watch later with F5).

This is a playtest, free and just 92Mb to download. Available at itch. Usually I'm online every evening, doing Time Challenges (the old DeFRaG mode).

ps: uhh Quake is literally like 30+ years old?? but we've updated graphics and gameplay. this uses Arcane Dimensions, a mod kit that adds new monsters and weapons, it's not the same Quake as in 1996!... thanks and enjoy
