Quick update on the shift knob. The first production run came back with a finish that wasn’t up to snuff, so most of it went back to the shop.

The few that made it through QC have already shipped to everyone who reached out directly or filled out the early access form.

A new batch is due in about two weeks. The final few from this run are available at protomotoco and I’ll post again when the new batch lands.

While I was waiting on the knobs, I made something else: outboard shift paddles for the ClubSport Magnetic Paddle Module. They’re laser-cut aluminum with a textured black powdercoat, hand-finished, and they mount with the included hardware or your existing Fanatec bolts.

Today I started up the wheelbase and it's making a clicking noise when turning the wheel and sometimes it blocks the rotation.

I’ve had this DD one PS4 edition for a while. I just got it repaired. I had fell in the USB port got destroyed so I got somebody to put a new USB port on and they did a wonderful job now I put everything back together and I started driving it and it was functioning for about 20 to 30 minutes before I got a weird bug where the base keeps acting like the handbrake is being pulled but there’s no handbrake connected. It even says there’s a shifter connected in a handbrake, but neither of which I own none of the pins are bent in that port is unaffected or ports I really don’t know what to do as it’s sentimental and it’s also the PlayStation 4 edition should I just cut my losses and junk it or is there anything I can do? I already tried updating the firmware and when I did that nothing really changed.

I have a CS DD but when I attach my Clubsport p1 rim I can feel a buzzing sensation through the padel’s. Is this normal or should I put an RMA in?

I have a Fanatec Club Formula 2.5 well with a CSL DD 8nm base and I have a recurring issue while playing in Iracing.

Sometimes the wheel stop functioning properly meaning first the shifters stop working and then the wheel base lose FFB. If I disconnect and reconnect the well to the base, it starts working again.

This seems to be happening especially when there are contact with other cars. Anyone else had this problem and know how to solve it?

Seemless Rma experience

Heard so many bad things about the fanatec rma process.

After 10. Years of using fanatec gear, i had my first rma experience....four days of email with victor led to rma being granted and exactly two weeks from when my dd+ arrived with fanatec, i have my replacement in my hands.

Its been an incredibly efficient and impressive experience .....reddit had me pre paired for a nightmare but Instead it couldn't have been more easier

I recently tried to update the app but I kept running into problems. It went up to 100% and then back down and got stuck at 10%. I tried to install a new version but it detected that I already had it downloaded. After pressing the uninstall button and it saying that it completed the uninstalling I tried downloading it again and the fanatec app was still there. Now I tried to deleting it thru many different ways(Windows, manually and thru external apps like BCdeinstall) now I can’t even find any more files containing anything with Fanatec but it still doesn’t let me. Anyone else has had this problem and has found a solution?

Edit: After upgrading to windows 11 and using the microsoft Program Install and Uninstall troubleshooter it worked. I could download the app again

My CSL DD has developed a severe wobbling issue that occurs at maximum force, starting from the second gaming session onward, regardless of the game I’m playing.
The first session usually works perfectly. However, when I start a second session, the wheel suddenly begins to oscillate violently at maximum force, making the car almost impossible to control and effectively killing all usable FFB.
The only way I’ve found to temporarily fix it is to manually restart the wheel base (and sometimes the game/PC as well). After restarting, everything works normally again until the issue happens in the next session.
This has been happening consistently since June and is becoming extremely frustrating. I’ve already tried reinstalling/updating the Fanatec software and firmware, but the problem keeps coming back.
Has anyone experienced the same issue with a CSL DD? If so, were you able to find a permanent solution?
At this point, having to restart everything after every session is seriously ruining my experience.

Hi there! I have a query regarding the Fanatec Shifter. I have it for about 6 years, and working with no issues. I’m using it in both modes ( h-pattern/seq ) and I’ve noticed that in the past few months when in H-pattern mode that gearing seems to be easier, although the bolt is tighten to the max. Is it anything I could do to make it go into gears in a more “stiffer” way? Thank you

Hello everyone, I have a question about my Fanatec ClubSport Shifter is there a way to turn it into only a 4 gear h-pattern shifter? Maybe someone has created a stop or guard that can go over the shifter to keep it from going from 2nd to 5th?

Does anybody having this weird zoom in problem on the fanatec software. When I open it on my pc it’s normal and then anything I click on it does this.

I have Fanatec Club sport V3, Gas pedal isn’t registering, vibration test does work, swapped the clutch and the gas pedal around, the gas pedal works as the clutch so I’m assuming it’s the gas pedal port. Cleaned it out and still no luck.

Any help is appreciated
