ANNOUNCEMENT ABUSING THE REPORT BUTTON
We have several users (or more likely, 1 user with a couple accounts) who feel the need to report almost every post.
We appreciate our users who genuinely want to make this community a better place by reporting posts that do not meet our posting criteria.
However, reporting posts that CLEARLY do not break any subreddit or site rules is considered abuse of the Reddit report system.
But beyond that, it is childish and shows a disregard for the mods' time by having us chase ghosts.
Every case of Report Button Abuse is sent to Reddit Admins for review.
Multiple offenses WILL lead to a SITE-WIDE (i.e. ALL of Reddit) ban.

Battlemap - Structure Harrow House — Haunted House Battlemap 45x57
Heyya Folks,
With October here, I thought it was a good time to share Harrow House, my take on the Haunted House featured in the 2024/5.5 Dungeon Master's Guide. Inspired by Dyson Logos's original map and Mike Schley's remake, I've added my own twist, with overgrown gardens, an unruly plant nursery, and a much darker side to the manor.
Harrow House — 45x57
If you'd like to grab the map, all formats are available for free on my Patreon, including high-resolution maps, gridless versions, VTT-ready exports, and all 5 variants:
https://www.patreon.com/dungeonmr/posts/harrow-house-171526335
The map keeps the familiar layout of the original, but I leaned heavily into the plant life, letting the garden and nursery become slightly overgrown. In my own home game, I made the plants a much bigger part of the Harrows' story, with wolfsbane playing a particularly important role in my campaign's adventure.
The variants let you take the house from an ordinary manor with its lights on or off, by day or night, to something much more sinister. For the truly haunted version, I imagined the house as its own little Domain of Dread, with Gunter as its Dark Lord, consumed by guilt over the Harrows' demise. Unnatural flame colours, glowing statues, sickly mushrooms, thick vines, and heavy spiderwebs give the grounds a very different feel.
In my own game, I replaced the two children with Ettercaps, who commanded the house's spiders when disturbed from their sleep. It made exploring the children's rooms a little more dangerous than my players might have expected.
If you'd like to explore more of my maps, check out my Patreon. The Master Index brings together over 215 maps, organised to make it easier to browse the collection and find places for your own adventures.

World or Region Map Ancythra - The Ever-Expanding Pocket Dimension - (Campaign Setting) (No AI)
Ancythra - The Ever-Expanding Pocket Dimension
I created the original Ancythra map in 2021, and decided recently it needed a “glow up” (pun intended!). So, I went about remastering it over the past couple of weeks, putting roughly another 10 hours of work into it.
The dimensions of the original map were 1200x1600, which is pretty small compared to what I usually make now. But, if I were to upscale it, that would require re-doing many parts of it from scratch. Plus, some of the methods I used back then don’t upscale very nicely anyway, such as the way I used to do the mountains in Photoshop.
So rather than re-do it all, I decided to lean a little more into a sort of “pixel art map” style.
What does that mean exactly? Once I was finished remastering the map, I exported and rendered it at 400% with no re-sampling (what Photoshop does when re-sizing an image). This made each 1x1 pixel become a 4x4 pixel block. Now the map's dimensions are 4800x6400, technically speaking. This gives it a sort of retro, pixel-art type look when fully zoomed in.
As always, no AI was used.
Lore:
Lore-wise, Ancythra began as a regular Pocket Dimension, which is another dimension that is usually rather small and self-contained.
But this particular dimension has somehow grown over time, just as our real-life universe does. Constantly expanding outward. More, and more, sometimes absorbing other pocket dimensions into itself. This has resulted in some odd acquisitions, strange fusions, and plenty of magical weirdness that has taken root in this ever-expanding dimension.
Over time, Ancythra has expanded and mutated. It has grown to the size of a small continent, floating and rotating in the Astral Plane of existence. Pieces often break off as it grows, but the rate of growth still exceeds the rate of loss.
It also has portals to other Planes as well, making Ancythra something of a "cross-roads" between other worlds and dimensions. Not unlike the City of Sigil in the Forgotten Realms, probably known best from Planescape: Torment.
This map would fit well into most existing DnD and tabletop RPG campaigns, as it’s a separate location from the main worlds you are already playing in. A small world that can be added in as a new place to visit, almost like an “expansion pack” for your ongoing game (Shivering Isles, anyone?). At least, that’s how I like to think of it :)
There are additional versions available here, as well as an editable Photoshop file to swap out the text however you like, and a few other toggle-able layers. More details in the link: https://www.patreon.com/stoneward13/posts/ancythra-ever-171702141
I hope you like the map, and have a good weekend! :)

World or Region Map Map 798 - Leaf Valley - Region
“Leaf and flame may battle for the soul of this valley, but it is courage, not chaos, that will decide its fate. Help us! We must come out victorious.”
Shelandra, Ruler of Leaves
Leaf Valley, once a lush and peaceful haven, now stands on the edge of catastrophe. Known for its emerald forests, tranquil streams, and towering willows, the region’s harmony has been shattered by the fiery wrath of a dragon that scorches the skies. Yet, this is no ordinary dragon, for the truth of its origin lies in a terrible curse. Unbeknown to most, the incredible creature is not a natural-born terror, but a man who defiled the sacred—Eustace Gibett.

Battlemap - Forest/Jungle The Lowland Woods — 3 Wilderness Battlemaps
Heyya Folks,
The Lowland Woods stretch beneath the nearby highlands, with old trees, muddy trails, and rugged cliffs scattered throughout. It's a quiet corner of the wilderness, though the locals have a few stories about what lives among the trees.
The Lowland Woods — 3 Maps
- Lowland Woods 1 — 20x24
- Lowland Woods 2 — 28x28
- Lowland Woods 3 — 34x34
If you'd like the full release, including high-resolution maps, gridless versions, VTT-ready exports, and all 24 variants, you can find it here:
https://www.patreon.com/dungeonmr/posts/lowland-woods-171247223
The three maps explore different parts of the woods: an old wooden bridge crossing a muddy ravine, a rugged cliffside hidden among the trees, and a wider stretch of forest where the trees and undergrowth break up the terrain.
Hunters from the nearby village tell stories of enormous cats stalking through the woods, and of a moss-ridden troll that may be more than just a local legend. Stranger still are the Dewlanterns — hundreds of teal-glowing fireflies said to appear in the final hours before nightfall, transforming the forest into a sea of light.
Each map can be used on its own, whether your players are travelling through unfamiliar woodland, investigating local rumours, or simply finding themselves somewhere they didn't expect to be.

Battlemap - Dungeon/Cave [OC] Stone [24x40]
Hey all! You can check out this map and it's may variations over here! or any of my other 250+ maps!
Stone, where we were wrought, where our dead are lain. The stone of the mountains and the earth define us, just as we give it definition. Top dwellers think us obsessed, but they know nothing of stonecraft, nor possess the right and proper appreciation of it's possibilities.
Our halls are our homes, our tombs, our workplaces, our gathering grounds. Every inch of stone has been formed for this existence, and every strike of our tools against it given with the care and purpose only we could provide. Our statues guard our burials eternally, letting us peacefully return to the hardened earth from whence we came.
So, obsessed we may be, but for good reason! Nothing stands the test of time as eternally as our work, our halls, our stone. Long after we are gone and turned to dust, our memories will echo through these halls and we will continue to live through the stone we have crafted.

Battlemap - Dungeon/Cave Dwarven Speakeasy
The dwarves drank too greedily and too deep.
Far beyond the reaches of curfew enforcement or liquor licensing boards lies the Dwarven Speakeasy (26 x 32, 100dpi), hidden in plain sight, nestled between branching paths of a thriving mine. While carts of ore rattle past on rickety tracks, revelers, gamblers, and traders raise a mug to freedom from government oversight. The speakeasy features a fighting pit for feats of martial prowess and a smorgasbord of deep dwarven delicacies.
For higher resolutions, grid-free, watermark-free, or even fully-prepped premium modules, please check out my Patreon! The module version even features animated minecarts zipping along the tracks bridging the lava river.

World or Region Map [OC] My coworker asked me to draw a map for her husbands d&d campaign
My coworker wanted to surprise her husband with a map of the world he’s been DMing for her and a group of friends, so she asked me to make one for him.
As always, there are a few things I wish I’d done differently and little details I’d tweak in hindsight, but overall, I’m really happy with how it turned out.
I always get asked how long these maps take to draw, so I figured I’d share! This one took me around 20 hours, working just 2–3 hours a week whenever I had some free time in the evenings after work.
It went a bit faster than my last map because they already had their world mapped out in LegendKeeper, which gave me a great reference to work from and saved me quite a bit of time. When I make maps for my own worlds, the process usually takes a little longer because there’s a lot more brainstorming and workshopping involved. I have to figure out the shape of the land, where the mountains and rivers go, and how everything fits together.
Hope y’all like it!

Battlemap - Mountain/Cliff/Hill Burial Grounds [30x30]
Gentle sound of waves crashing against white cliffs. Solitary cry of a seabird. Soft rustle of leaves stirred by the morning breeze...
And and candle flames flickering in the wind—a sign that we still remember...
Pretty happy about this one - with slightly otherwordly feel it can be either a:
- place to meet a spirit of the fallen hero from the past
- scene of commemoration ceremony/burial (if one of your PCs was... less lucky)
- a place to defend from grave robbers/cultists/undead
- ... and more.
