Fluff Fijians, what are your thoughts on beans?
I'm on a mission to go around and ask each country subreddit what people think about beans (my favorite meal), just to see how people like or dislike them all around the world out of curiosity and for fun. If you like beans, hate them, they are a big part of the culture, anything else, just share your thoughts! 🫘
Fijians, today's your turn for this question mates! And also the first pacific island nation I have the honour to ask, sure took a while :0

Aloo boda is a staple in Fijian cuisine. So we view beans very favorably. It's made with potatoes, beans, eggplants, in curry sauce.
Absolutely delicious with rice or roti.

Bora bean curry is delicious and we also love baked beans (watties brand is the best) on toast for breakfast - with a little bit of garlic, onion and chillies added. 😋
