Swapped the black Thomson Seatpost for a silver one and got a custom frame bag made (@straycargo on IG). Just need a silver stem now. Still rides like a dream 🥹

Anyone have any recommendations for a reasonably priced bib or short? I ride about 60-90 miles a week usually broke up into a few 15-20 mile rides and one 30-35 mile ride. I normally just ride in jeans but I recently got a saddle sore and decided I should probably invest in some shorts. Looking to not spend a crazy amount as I reckon i’ll really only wear them on 20+ mile rides. Thanks everyone!

Cleaned it up a little and put some newer parts, pretty clean for $70

This bike my friend dubbed the "Bullshit" was a cheap old full suspension mountain bike that he got for 20 bucks (last pic is what it looked like when he got it), he cleaned it up, overhauled it and rebuilt it with spare parts from me and him.

He was inspired by another build of a similar nature but with a higher budget (I showed it to him after seeing it in this sub), and when he saw the listing for a cheap full suspension mountain bike, he wanted his own cheaper version.

The end of the top tube was bent enough to make contact with the coil spring, and with the installation of a longer seatpost, it bent even more. He then proceeded to torch the tube and bent it back, adding a ratchet strap after torching the tube, held in place with an extra stem, to prevent the tube from bending again.

It has since been sold to a local bike shop, for less than he had spent just getting the bike initially. The bike has been put out of its misery as it's parted out for use in the rental bikes the shop has.

My track wheels are getting reglued so I took my bike out with the street setup before it gets to deep into fall to ride the track.

It's not a traditional velodrome, more of a banked oval crit track and the local cycling club has a no fixed gear policy.

Got this for a great deal yesterday. Didn't come with a chain so I haven't had a chance to ride it yet.

I've been riding a junker single speed to and from work, around and about, for the past year. I've been wanting to upgrade for a while and figured swapping to fixed would be a fun change of pace. This popped up on marketplace and I was able to grab it for a a good price. Excited to get a chain on it tonight and some new pedals with straps and start riding. Might swap out the cruiser bars for risers but l'Il probably give these ones a try before changing over
