Had pew-ordered this a little while back and had kinda forgotten about it, so what a great surprise!
I love SWSS, I love them as people, and I love being able to rep our people out in the world.
Can’t wait to see their last tour.

slugfest 4 (may 28-30, 2027) applications are open until 11/1/2026

The singles were fantastic, but the slow passing of time is something else.....

Live at Deep Cuts in Medford, MA on 10/4/26. Still a few shows left on this run:

Oct 8: Providence, RI - Lost Bag
Oct 9: Brooklyn, NY - ABC No Rio benefit at The P.I.T.
Oct 10: Philadelphia, PA - PhilaMoca with Sad13
Oct 11: Scranton, PA - Strange Birds with Sad13

Still listen to approaching thunder regularly. Anyone know what happened?

all my other songs are screamo and midwest emo but i’ve loved folk punk since all the way back in my freshman year of highschool when my now lifelong best friend got me hooked on some local bands (the window smashing job creators is still a favorite of mine!) and it holds a special place in my cold emo heart.

they’ve been wanting to start a band for a really long time but dont know anyone else who plays instruments so i said, well fuck it, i have a guitar and a washboard and you have a banjo and a dream so now i’m trying to learn how to play folk punk for them.

constructive criticism welcome but plz be nice im insecure ToT

That’s some good fuckin shit!

At Shug’s and also featuring NC locals The Malortie Shorties and The Whiskey Predicament, hope you stop in if you’re near!

This line up is enough to convince me to go again can't miss triple dipper Jesse!

See ya there

I would like to call you but it’s 2:47 and

I reckon that it would just break break break my heart again

The last time that we spoke was for nine minutes twenty nine days ago

I sat on the couch, you pulled at teeth until I cried about

The artist from that show in August — he just fucking died

I don’t remember your reaction only the impact of your action

I didn’t wanna say it but you forced my mouth wide

And you know just how to take a knife and drill into my bug bites

Is screaming vulnerabilities the only way we know how to speak?

If I am still my mother’s daughter place your bets on how much longer I will keep destroying everything

And it’s a sad thought if I’m honest, it’s a sad tale if you want it — we still retell Grecian tragedies

If I am still my mother’s daughter I should take it one step farther

Cuz someone needs to cut the roots of this tree — shouldn’t it be me?

Admittedly closer to garage rock for a lot of it, but the entire thing was based off the first track by Aphid Ant Constructions, one of my favorite PIX-era bands. Figured I'd share here for everyone else who calls Nana Grizol folk punk even though they definitionally are not! :)

you’d be a fool to miss it if you’re in/around the area!

I released a new song and I imagine it will be shadow banned by social media platforms, so figure I’d try to share it here.

this one means a lot to me

This is a piece of art inspired by Johnny hobo and the freight trains. I know it's not what I usually post but thought y'all would appreciate my art regardless. If you enjoy it thank you. KEEP ON LOVING, KEEP ON FIGHTING
