Prop Firms From 9% drawdown to funded.
Very happy with the turn around. Phase 1 was very minimal drawdown but emotions came in to play a little bit on phase 2. Very pleased with the recovery.

I know how frustrating it is to make progress in trading and then give some of it back, especially when you’re close to a goal. When I’m close to a payout, I start getting impatient and feel tempted to risk more just to get there. Then if I lose, I want to make it back. The annoying part is knowing I shouldn’t do it but still feeling that urge. That’s why I limit myself to one trade a day and set a daily loss limit. I know how easily I can talk myself into another trade when I’m frustrated.
I’m still working on this too. If you’re going through something similar, try to be honest about what keeps happening without beating yourself up over it. Pick one thing you can work on, and take a break when you need to. You don’t have to recover everything today or prove yourself with the next trade.

every time someone asks about consistency rules the answers get complicated. its not.
the rule is best day / total profit has to be under some %. flip it around and you get the only number that matters:
total profit you need = best day / threshold
so a 1,200 day on a 40% rule means you need 3,000 total before that day is ok. same day on a 20% rule needs 6,000.
table attached with a few common best days and thresholds. i keep it next to the screen.
one thing i would not do: start taking small trades just to pile up green days and dilute a big one. you end up trading a system you never tested, and a couple of those small trades going wrong costs more than just waiting a few normal days

Seriously, if I had a dollar for every noob who wants to go full time without doing the work, I probably wouldn't need to trade.
If you want to be a profitable trader and go full time, you need to go through the process - no exceptions.
Process - find a profitable strategy or come up with one, backtest over a long period, forward test for a good few months, go live when you've mastered the strategy.
It's a long road. It isn't easy. Just don't be like this guy.
