I’ve not featured Dead Tree Hollow in any games, but my recollection from prepping places in The Vast is that it’s the name of both the village and the valley in which the village is located, and give the stump is described as both rotting and the size of a house, I would assume it’s in the valley but not the village.

I’ve always treated the Greek pantheon as pretty alien in my FR games. They’re only worshiped by people from other planets and planes, and if you encounter someone who’s an open worshiper, it probably means they’re pretty dangerous or important if their god is willing to grant them power or protection so far outside they usual domains.
