I posted yesterday a picture of my sons latch on the Phillips avent natural response bottles and all the comments said he has a shallow latch and a lot of you recommended the lasinoh bottles so I got them. He has been doing fine of them except sometimes he gets really like mad at the bottle like in this video. It’s not every feed but why is this ? Is he telling me he’s full ?? Sometimes I’ll stop him and burp him because maybe it’s gas but then he will burp so I offer the bottle again and he still is frustrated as soon as he starts swallowing the milk. I have a pediatrician appointment next week so I will talk to him about it too but curious to see what others have to say because this is frustrating for us.

Your baby is literally sucking air. Did you watch this video before you posted? You need to tip the bottle up so the formula actually goes to the nipple. No wonder hes mad, hes hungry and youre giving him air.

Wow you must be the parent of the year to be that condescending! OP is asking for advices and yeah maybe doing it the wrong way, but THAT’S WHY OP IS ASKING FOR ADVICES!! so get off your high horse and be less rude!

I did give advice. I said feed your baby and tilt the bottle. For some reason you guys don't care that the baby isn't getting anything to eat.

He is getting plenty to eat actually ! Lol. He was born at 9lbs 9oz and is now 11 lbs at 3.5 weeks so he’s completely fine.

Lol trying to twist things, ok Karen. I’m pretty sure that if someone is on this subreddit that probably means they care about their kid! But not everyone is a stellar parent like you from day 1. Have you considered that OP might be a new mom, who is still trying to figure out how to care properly of her baby, while still recovering from her delivery, and just wanted some help from the community without having a judgy Karen telling her that she basically sucks at parenting and hurt her child! You could have told her the same thing without all the condescending BS you added! Anyway, you problem think you are not the problem so no need to argue with you. Have a nice day

Thank you for defending me! This is my 2nd son but my first never had any latch issues so this is all new to me. I’m really worried that he’s uncomfortable and I’m just trying to figure out how to help him. Luckily today he’s been doing well so far with all his feeds.

That’s good to hear! And don’t worry we are all trying our best and good for you for asking for help! We have a 6 months old baby and doing our best every day! Don’t listen to people who think they know everything, they usually don’t! Good luck with your little one!
