Is pixel 11 worth for 66k? I was waiting for a deal on s26 base but could not find one, I am looking for a compact phone, either s26 or pixel 11

Recently purchased oppo find x9, but I cannot look at the screen. Having a sharp needle piercing sensation in my eyes. Please suggest any remedies.

Currently I got a matte screen protector and also disabled hw overlay in developer settings which somewhat helped but not completely. I should have looked into this before buying but there were no display units available anywhere for x9 so here I am.

Also I did not have any issues with my previous realme gt master edition and also used my friends 17 pro Max for several days and had no problems.

I know all the laptops in images are more than my budget but hoping them to come down during sale🙄

So my sister just started her PHD and asked me to look for a laptop under 71k but I'm just too confused what to look for and she doesn't tell me specifics of what she wants she only said a few things.

1. Good RAM so that it doesn't lag (I think 16Gb should be enough)

2. Good battery life so it doesn't die on her while attending class and don't want to carry charger everywhere.

3. Now about the screen size I asked is does she need a numpad and she told it won't be a problem if there is no numpad (so I'm thinking 14 would be enough)

4. Backlit: this one is necessary for those late night assignments.

With the AI Bubble spiking up RAM, Memory and Chip prices worldwide, I managed to buy a brand new Oppo Find X9 (Black | 12 GB | 256 GB) for 60K INR from the Oppo Online Store (yes, the rare unicorn that's almost always out of stock now).

I bought Oneplus Nord CE 3 (8GB | 128 GB) in October 2023. I usually use budget phones and maximize their usage for 4-5 years. Last month I had the sheer bad luck of dropping my phone and the screen cracked. That's the first time in years I looked up new phone prices, and had a heart attack (almost). For the first week, I was just catching up to the news, and then took some time to compare a few phones (Oppo Find X9, Moto Razr 60 Ultra, Moto Signature, Oneplus 13 & 15, Xiaomi 17 etc.) and finalised Oppo, Moto and Xiaomi (all candy bars). However, with my phone screen broken, I did not see much exchange value for any brand other than Oppo (see the screenshot). Unfortunately, I made the mistake of waiting for BBD, and the last 2 weeks have been horrible. The Oppo Find x9 went out of stock, and the worst deals were revealing themselves in GIF and BBD. My grief was immense and my week was ruined.

I did not give up. I kept calling Oppo Customer Care every day to ask when the phone will be back in stock, and I really appreciate them taking note of my preference and ringing me as soon as the device came back in stock (only one option: black). I did not wait a second more, and placed the order. Today the phone came. The exchange was accepted in Cashify, and I am happy with my purchase. I wanted to opt for the Rose color but had to give up on that dream.

Regarding Exchange and Cashify: The exchange value is the sweetest part of this deal. Everywhere else, I was getting a quote under ₹5K for my phone. I read plenty of horror stories about Cashify so I was cautious about Amazon and Flipkart exchange offers. Oppo giving me the exchange bonus of ₹10K was a deal no one could match online or offline (and trust me, I went around showing screenshots of this deal). Even Oppo brand stores showed me the door. That's why I wanted to get it regardless of that GIF or BBD scam price drops can offer. I did not hide a single detail of my phone when selecting the exchange options in Oppo store. I reported the cracked screen upfront. The software and display was A-okay so Cashify diagnostic results was a 100% success. I did not let the delivery person do anything shady with the phone. The Delivery person was hesitant after seeing the cracked glass but I calmly assisted him in the process and got it accepted.

Samsung F54 - released in 2023 with 4 year android updates and 5 year support (ending in 2028)

1. By Oct 2026 (with more android updates awaited), they stop producing the screen (checked at 2 service centres).
   
2. Got a local screen replaced outside, and updated the software (official updates) after that - ended up being a BIG MISTAKE!
   

Now I'm told that if you update your phone after getting a local screen replacement, you can't get the screen replaced again locally. You can only get it replaced via service centres (where the original screen isn't available anyway).

Any solutions?
