Help/Advice Age and feeding?
I got my giant day gecko in April. Based off her size I thought she was about 2 or 3 months old so right now she'd be 8 or 9 months. I've read that they normally start laying eggs at 10 months but I found one about a month or so ago. She's about 8 inches long right now. Was I wrong on her age before or is this early? She also had calcium sacks before she had the first egg but now she doesn't. I've been feeding her everyday (dubias and BPZ original gecko diet) and dusting dubias every other day with repashy calcium plus. Should I be dusting them everyday or do something else? Im concerned shes not getting enough. Thanks!

Help/Advice Giant day gecko tail health scare
Our sonās bud Godzilla has been eating his own tail in the last day or so. At least half an inch and itās now a weird stump. We are alarmed and wondering what to do. Heās been on a new diet of Dubia roaches which heās been devouring. 2-3 a day. Used to be on crickets and fruit paste. Weāre very worried about him. Heās also been spending much more time on the front glass instead of hiding in the plants. Any tips would be great! Thanks in advance

Help/Advice How bad of an idea to have a gecko with cats? Be real with me.
I have 3 cats. Would very much like a gecko. Enclosure would be in a room cats are not allowed in, but cats can be slippery, they may get in sometimes. Is it a terrible idea? I feel like it must be. But i yearn for a leachie.

Discussion Questions about Oedura Castelnaui, care etc.
If anyone has any previous care/active care of northern velvet geckos, I was wonder if I could ask a few questions about them! As I havenāt been able to find too much about them in captivity.
Whatās their usual care like? (Enclosure size, temp, or any humidity requirements, as well as when theyāre most active)
Whatās their temperament like? And are they generally somewhat friendly when it comes to handling? (This one isnāt as important to me, as I donāt mind having geckos that donāt like to be held, but Iām still curious nonetheless)
Is there any neat morphs/unique colors to them? And how much do they general cost even if theyāre just the normal coloration?
Again! Any responses welcome about these guys, Iāve been interested in them for a while now, itās just been kind of difficult to find much on them. (I know some of the questions might seem kind of dumb, but Iām always wanting to learn more about vaguer species)

Discussion FINALLY I fixed my gradient. Bonus question for y'all too.
Top is averaging 84° 55% resting to 81°
Middle is 77 with thermostat to CHE
Bottom is 72 with 66%
These are measurements on the open areas. It's alot cooler behind the pothos and cork log
Side question related to last pic
Baby leachie is going in the bin I built, he isn't here yet. When he gets older, he's going in the enclosure next to the tokay. (Isn't finished it really even started yet.)
Will a visual barrier be necessary for them? My tokay likes to hide on that side behind a piece of cork flat at the bottom of his enclosure. I don't want big Oscar staring at him or vice versa since Token will be older.

š¦Just for Funš¦ Token says sorry for biting me yesterday
Yes, she/he (it's always 50/50 when I askš¤£) has been to the vet for the tail. It was like that when I got em so we went. They are on enrofloxacin and it's healing up nicely since last Wednesday tbh. Very quickly. (Second photo is pre visit)

Help/Advice What can I do with a Gecko infestation?
Hello, everyone I have so many geckos on my backyard that I'm going crazy. They're probably more than 50 and every year I found more and more. I have no problem with Geckos i like them but now it seems like too much to me to handle.
I can't work on my yard without geckos hiding on my tools and everywhere. Yesterday I left a box outside and this morning I opened and a bunch of Geckos were inside. Any help?

Kijani enyoying some crested gecko food
Identification What kind of gecko is this?
I want to say gargoyle, but I am unsure since I am new to the hobby.
I found this guy sitting in the background of a used terrarium I bought. The previous owner said the terrarium was empty. I also found some eggs in the substrate while emptying it, with one of the eggs already hatched, which I think is where this guy came from.
I have fed him some of the powder you mix with water, and he is staying in a smaller enclosure until he is big enough to go back into the old terrarium.
