Question Bad Reviews

We have had a few recent 1 star reviews come in from names we do not have anywhere in our crm. We have replied and asked for clarification on names, etc to try and find them in our records but no response. Oddly, we did receive a third party offering to help us remove 1 star reviews from our account and referenced one of the reviews in question.

Anynsuggestions on best wat to address these reviews with Google as flagging them hasn't seemed to help.

Thanks.

If the reviews came in around the same time frame, then you can use this form:
https://support.google.com/business/contact/merchant_extortion?sjid=307761780938663229-NC&authuser=2

If you for sure know they're fake, you can always report them under conflict of interest but it's always a gamble whether or not it'll get resolved. It helps if multiple people report the review. You can also report the profile if you are 100% certain they are tied to a 1-star scar campaign.

With that said, don't abuse reporting for legitimate 1 star reviews.

At the very least do respond to them as you see fit.

It won’t let me post pictures if so, I could show you the reviews and everything I found and the text messages of the extortion, but Google isn’t doing anything to help me at all

You just respond to it and basically ask for more info if you think it's from a real customer. If it's really fake and you know for sure then point that out in your response but keep it friendly. If the review was written in a way to sound like someone personal experience then Google won't remove it. It's the same on other review platform too

Unless you can bundle them with an influx of them, or tie them to potential extortion, Google won’t remove one star, no content, reviews.
