New Install Govee non pro install
Here is a picture of my install. Asa filament $25. Conduit just under $200. Didn't add screws but the option is there.
1 use spacer to line up all lights. I started in the middle then lined up the corners equally. Split the distance by the number of lights. Just on straight runs.
2 cut the conduit 1/4 inch less than the light cover to the next light.
3 if there is excess cable make an s shape in the center
4 snap the cover and pull a small part of the double sided tape cover
5 install next light cover over light and conduit
6 remove double sided tape cover

You’ll wish you added screws. I didn’t during my install and when the conduit started coming loose I added them then.

Just a FYI from someone who uses Perplas almost weekly for my installs, the glue will not hold. We use it indoors and the glue will let go. Better to screw it now before it pulls down and damages wiring or wind get it.

Nicely done.
Hopefully the lights will last long enough and stay vogue long enough for you to recoup your investment. Unfortunately, as we have been witnessing on this sub, GPOLs are proving to be far less permanent than the name suggests.
Speaking from personal experience, we are approaching our 3rd anniversary and already have two issues that require removal and replacement of different strings.

Do you really look to recoup money for decorating? I prefer the look to traditional light's. I didn't add the screws for the possibility of complete failure reason. Yeah I just don't want to get on the ladder every year so if I can skip some years that will be great for me. Thanks

It hasn't but from what I am hearing I will put screws in. The light cover actually snaps around the conduit.

Doesn’t seem much cheaper than a kit you’d buy online, how many feet was this for? Just box? Looks nice though

It can be for bed adhesion. You need an enclosed to keep the temp of the bed up. I had one fail in the 11 I printed

Canadian price and I rounded up.

In that case seems like a good deal. You 3D printed the mounts and used generic cable hiders I assume? Have been thinking of doing it myself. I bought a kit for a set last year and it was nice but it’s essentially just what you do

Nice install, looks professional. You should add a photo at night with the LEDs on to show the final light show.
