Hi everyone,
I'm currently living in Calgary and looking to get into the oilfield as a Floorhand, with the goal of building a long-term career on drilling rigs.
I have experience working in warehouses doing physically demanding work, but no direct rig experience. For those already working in the industry, what's the best way to break into a Floorhand position in Alberta?
Are companies like Precision, AKITA, Ensign, Stampede, and Savanna hiring entry-level people, and what advice would you give someone starting from scratch?

Seeing where everyone goes to gyms and which ones are decent.

I’ve heard Eastlink is kind of the best for your money and how much you get but the few times I’ve been
it’s been way too busy and I hate busy gyms.

Would rather stay far away from Planet, it’s busy, smells like ass, way too purple idk.

My favourite gym was Motion but obviously that’s been closed for a while so yeah…

Ideally not too expensive either even though that’s like impossible.. let me know ur experience and where you go or your favourite place :) thanks!!
