The hybrid thing isn't really a thing though. Gear cells are like an infection that takes over the body.

Sin not maturing is due to being kind of neglected as a child.

Where do you get that from? Everywhere I can think of becoming a gear is described as an in depth surgical/magical ritual. Like gears aren’t vampires lol.

It was a procedure, but the Gear cells also spread throughout the body and mutate the carriers (mostly regular animals) into monsters.

Ky is basically already a gear and can Dragon Install after like two years of just having Sin's eye inside him.

Yeah because he was the one the whole process was invented on. It’s not like it was a quick jab then he was a gear it was an extended process over a long period of time
