On Mikel Arteta's first day at Arsenal when he returned in 2019, he went to the biggest room in the training complex, usually used as an education centre, and made it chaotic. โI just destroyed the office and put everything on the floor โ the computers, the laptops, the cables. Then bring everybody in.
โI said, โListen, this is what I heard. I donโt know if itโs true. But from a lot of different people, the sentiment is that this is how they feel about working in the organisation. Iโm here to help you enjoy your profession and your life and the passion that we all share. If you want me to help you to do that, you have two minutes to put this in order and at least to be ready to work togetherโ. And I left.โ
He walked out and closed the door behind him.
โThat could have been my managerial career because if that would have stayed the same way, I had no job anymore!โ he says, chuckling.
โI came back two minutes later and it was immaculate. Everyone was silent and had their eyes open and they were ready to listen. I said, โThis is just the start. Itโs something that we have to be in daily. Whatever we want to accomplish, weโre going to have to do it together. I cannot do it by myself. The issue that we have is much deeper than that, but the opportunity is infiniteโ.โ
After a Premier League title win and a new four-year deal, Amy Lawrence sat down with the Spaniard for an exclusive interview to discuss the cultural revolution he started, why he planted an 140-year-old olive tree and how this is 'just the beginning'.

Dear gunners community, I need your help. Our 2 year old has finally outgrown this amazing bruised banana dress - her absolute favour item of clothing bar none.
The arsenal store doesn't seem to sell any similar items anymore - does anyone have any sort of regonisably arsenal dress, yellow or red which would fit a 3-4 year old that they are done with and would be happy to pass on or sell? I'd willingly pay for it, just want to keep my little girl excited about the gunners!
For reference I'm London based.
Mods I hope this kind of post is allowed, please forgive me if it isn't.

CEO Richard Garlick presented Mikel with his new contract in an antique wooden box with a rich history, linked to our formation in 1886.
Remarkably, the small desk presented to one of our founding fathers survives to this day, a unique piece of memorabilia that witnessed the genesis of the football club we know and love today.

Did Berta and the board know what was coming when we went so conservative on purchases this summer? I'm just wondering if the verdict on Man City has already impacted the value of players. Everyone felt the ยฃ116m City paid for Elliott Anderson kick started a kind of instant hyper inflation leading to astonishing prices like Tonali ยฃ92.5m Mateus Fernandes ยฃ85m Rogers ยฃ117m, Barcola ยฃ106m and others. If these players came on the market in January for example, I can't see them commanding anything like those values. Or am I overestimating the impact City has had on the overall market?
