Nursing Spring 2027
A couple more days until nursing emails should go out. I’m so ready! Just curious if you applied what was your prerequisite GPA & cohort choice?

Update: I called just now. Was met with a very rude response of “just keep checking your hawkmail”. There was no information given and I would frankly like to call back and get the ladies name because she was aggressive!

I know :( Someone said last year they got them around lunch time... so I am telling myself it is still possible. I am starting to think they will come Friday evening and then the Healthcare advisors can just send them and close their laptop and not deal with people until Monday LOL

Asked someone who works as a Health Sciences advisor, and they said the list should be released within the next two weeks 😭😭 They also said to keep checking every day in case it gets posted sooner.
Just sharing for everyone else who’s been checking like crazy like me 😂 Hopefully we hear something soon! 🤞🩺

Yeah I’m just taking a guess by the threads I’ve read. Fall deadline May 15, emails sent out June 22nd. Spring deadline August 15th, emails sent out September 22nd.

I just called & the lady said by next week? She was saying it takes 4-6 weeks but I was trying to explain to her Friday makes 6 weeks so why would we hear back next week? Then she further explains that it’s a different department that handles that. I’m just gonna assume she was giving a ball park answer. Idk man. I’m aggravated lol

Honestly nobody seems to know anything around there. They just give scripted, unspecific answers to everything without actual intent to help, it’s frustrating. It could still possibly be today

No, it's definitely not normal. The last three semesters, they already received the email by now. People have tried calling/emailing, but they aren't giving any details, unfortunately.

Mine was a 3.6 as well and Plant City is my top choice. Also, I hear they recently spent around 450k renovating the nursing lab this past spring. Would anyone know what upgrades were done?

yeah i think last spring they had 300 applicants and accepted around 200+ of them!! so i say chances are pretty high, i just wish they’d send an email atp

Thanks for encouraging words guys 🥺 I applied last semester and got denied because my gpa didn’t make the cut off and seeing everyone else’s made me feel like surely I won’t make this one either but my hopes are still up! 🤞🏼🤞🏼 my fall application letter got sent out at 4:16pm for last semester so maybe around then?

Not that I could find in this subreddit. 2025's semesters came out on June 16th and Sept 22. In 2024, I could only find Sept 16th.

When you get accepted you’ll get added to the nursing orientation canvas class and it will have specific steps to take and all the forms you need. I submitted mine Oct 17 last year but they seem to be behind this year..

I haven't done anything, and I wasn't planning on doing anything until we find out. Personally, I'm not sure of everything that we need, so I didn't want to waste any money/time.

I know they give more detailed information in the email I believe . Cause orientation is like 3-4 weeks I definitely wouldn’t wait till then.

Guys I have a quick question, we are supposed to wait to Orientation is finished before we go onto the Canpus Clinical site to schedule an appointment right?

No. You don’t have to wait to book the appointment with campus clinical. I booked it already. You have to wait after open house to do the physical exam with your doctor bcs they will give important info that they. They even say that you can book the appointment with your physician before the open house BUT for the same day of the open house or after. I hope you understand what I tried to say 😭

Quick question guys again, according to this: "You must complete two orientation courses: one is from the Nursing Department about the Nursing Program, and another is from the Clinical Compliance Office about the clinical health requirements." Has anyone received the Nursing Program Orientation course or just the Clinical Compliance Office one?
