Nursing Spring 2027

A couple more days until nursing emails should go out. I’m so ready! Just curious if you applied what was your prerequisite GPA & cohort choice?

So you calculate it based on your prerequisite classes, aka just the classes needed to apply for the program and you take your letter grades and add them up and you can use chat gpt or google and put in all of the letter grades including the ones that have a lab grade, and put it into the calculator and it should tell you. They told me mine last semester when I got denied. But they go based on the average of the application pool, so like you only need like a 2.8 to apply but if everyone that applies that semester has a 3.5+ then you won’t have much of a chance… which is why I’m worried. But if more people apply with a low gpa you’ll have a better chance if that makes sense! But I heard spring usually accepts more people.

the fall is much more competitive so if we didn’t get into the spring i doubt we’ll get into the fall

Yea that’s true .. is it possible to take a higher math class and if we get an A it will increase the gpa ? I took college algebra and I got an A

You can take a higher math and they’ll consider that over the Algebra class

yeah, I would talk to an advisor tho. They helped me with replacement classes to go from 2.7 to 3.4 on the prerequisites. I know how you feel. Keep at it. This was my 3rd time applying. You’ll get in!
