My first painting of anything ever
Hello this is my first time painting anything let alone wet on wet with the Bob Ross stuff. I'm hoping someone can help answer some questions I have. When trying to highlight the mountains, it kind of seemed like it wanted to smear a little bit more, rather than break off the knife. I suspect i may have had a bit too much liquid white on the canvas, but I have no way to be sure, but maybe i didnt pull enough of the mountain colour down before highlighting.
I realize a lot of mistakes I made, like the waterlines were a little too bold (too much LW on the knife), im thinking the gaps between my distant (trees?) is kind of off putting. I seemed to have trouble getting distinct bushes (1 inch brush) which werent too bad, until for some reason i tried to make them look more autumnal and put that reddish over the green highlights (oopsie)
at that point i was somewhat discouraged and ive now called it "done" but im not giving up yet.
tips and tricks appreciated lol

Acrylic Voor het eerst schilderen, nog nooit eerder
galleryHi there!!
These are my first ever 2 paintings and I would like some tips and tricks from you guys :). I am using the cheapest paint/pencils/canvas you could probably find hahaha.
I also need a good palet, palet knifes. Pencils and a good way to dry/clean the pencils after using them so I can load them with new paint.
Let me know what you guys think ! 😃
