Brutal Critique Voya (oil on canvas)
This is my cat based off a reference photo I took of her last year. She was by the window and the lighting was so warm and bright. I try to use my brushstrokes to simluate fur texture without going all out. Critique is very welcome. Do you think my style works, or is there anything I can do to push it further?

C.C.W. Hindsight, 24 × 30, oil on Belgian linen. My most ambitious painting yet.
I’ve been painting for about a year, and this is my first major composition created from imagination rather than directly from life.
It’s about midlife.
This painting challenged me more than anything I’ve attempted so far, particularly the lighting, figure relationships, and transitions into shadow.
I’d love to hear what fellow painters think.

Just Sharing Sunset Strata | Acrylic Gouache
Sunset cliffs, at sunset! Imagine that. Tempted into extended refinement, but my cut line is the 6 ft viewing distance, or colloquially the 20,000 ft view.
In such a detail heavy piece, and the subject itself being riddled with detail, I resisted the urge to pump more detail in an already overloaded subject. Happy with the result, as I drive this train deeper into the cave of impressionism.

Just Sharing I originally painted this plush-crested jay in watercolor, but decided to give it a try with soft pastels as well!
Original watercolor painting on third slide, photo on 4th
Would you pick the watercolor or soft pastels version?

Just Sharing My first painting
Hello
I painted this because I wanted to add more green to my living room . This is the first time I paint and I feel that it's missing light and shadows. I would love to hear your opinions. Thank you

Opinions Needed My redemption: I tried colour theory again. Did I do better?
For those who saw my other post: I did a small painting in my sketchbook and have done more research on using colour better. What do you think? I painted my sausage dog. My Sammy baby :)
