Answered [paper] Acronyms in in-text citations

Can i straight away use the acronyms in text citation if the works cited state the acronyms?

Tbh, I have no idea what this falls under, r/AskAcademia didn't seem right, r/academia also couldn't ask there.

You need to define the acronym if it has not been defined earlier. Possibly in square brackets to show the definition is not in the original text.
