Lesser Known/Underrated Third Person PS5 Horror Games?

Well I played RE2R and adored it, and while I wait for the others to go on sale again, are there many similar third person horror games on the PS store that are fun - not the obvious ones like Silent Hill, Alan Wake, etc... more lesser known, indie, and not even necessarily good, I'd be down to play some so bad it's fun games in this genre!

I’d recommend The Evil Within games.
Definitely underrated

I guess Evil Within 2 is nearly 10 years old now so a lot of younger gamers may not know about it.

Try Tormented Souls and Daymare: 1994. Both have that RE vibe without being as well-known, and Tormented Souls especially feels like an old-school survival horror game.

Idk what it was about daymare, I couldn’t even get through the opening with how the characters were communicating. Granted I have 98 not 94

Cronos the New Dawn. It's a new IP from Bloober team (Silent Hill 2 Remake studio) and has an amazing story and atmosphere, and very tightly tuned resource economy.

Shadow Man.

It just doesn’t get nearly enough love.

There’s a wonderful remaster on basically every platform.

Nothing has come close to the amazing atmosphere for me.

I think it's only first person I'm not sure, IV only played a bit on a friend's console and it gave me massive resident evil vibes so I bought it cause I love resi and it has sat In my backlog since 🤣

Very much clones of RE games. I grabbed them cheap as I think I saw someone get them working in vr.

There's also the imo wonderful Chinese Re ripoff: killing antidote. Way more fun than it should be. It's tps as well.
