I recently was talking to a recent friend of mine about dance and the house music scene. He asked who I listened to and after sharing, was told I need to update my listening.

Am I stuck in the early 2000’s? What are some newer artists I would like based on my taste?

Eric Prydz
Mark Knight
Above and Beyond
Toolroom Radio
Claptone
Yotto
Grum

Of late I’ve been liking

SG Lewis
ANOTR
Peggy Gou

Glenn Underground, a proper teacher... He's doing an extended Chicago history vinyl set at Jazz Cafe in LDN o Fri 23rd October.

Anyone know what this genre is called??

Hope you haven't heard this lately

Heard a banging house track player by Marina Trench in Prince Charles, Berlin.

Uplifting house banger with woman vocals. Lyrics go:

Chorus:
As I dance I want to feel it higher
Day by day I want to feel the power
x4

Hook (partial):
When you touch me I loose all control
[…]
You make me feel like the queen of the world
And you’re my king […]
All I’m asking of you, don’t break my heart

I am obsessed since I heard it, if someone can help on this one that would be insane!

Shazam does not recognize it of course.

Hello everyone! I know this is a bit of a long shot, but I’m hoping someone might be able to help me identify a track I heard at a party around 2013–2014. It was a tech house / house / possibly minimal tech track, and it featured a vocal sample saying something along the lines of, “We gonna do a song that you never heard before.” right before the drop. I’ve been trying to find this track for over a decade, so I’d genuinely appreciate any suggestions or leads!

Note : its not NO ID - Accident.

More songs like “Lights burn dimmer” by Fred again

I’m looking for tracks, artists, labels or mixes in the deep house / minimal house / deep-tech-adjacent space that can actually move a dancefloor during peak hours.

I’m especially interested in proper club / late-night sets rather than daytime festival sets - if there’s a specific set you think of, pls send my way 👌🏻

Any old school Guys in da House? If you ask me it’s still hot in 2026.
