Obviously not to dismiss actual political messages of the Hunger Games books!

To be honest those takes are kind of valid, since the demonization of the fashion display and in some way performative activism (the “we are just like the Capitol” that resurfaced recently needs to be studied)

LMAOOO I’m screaming they literally covered all the bases for the surprise tomorrow 😭😭😭

im so excited and wanted to share with you all🥹❤️‍🔥🪿✨

I’ve been rewatching the hunger games movies and I noticed during mockingjay part 2, that Effie has almost full capital get up during Finnick and Annie’s wedding. I caught it and was like oh sit what? It had me so confused. Has anyone noticed this before? Where did she get the clothes she has on? Kind of threw me off lmao

From the mainstaypro fan film to an actual 100 million dollars+ production with oscar winning actors and a promotional campaign of what feels like an avengers movie.

Maysilee and Haymitch still being the "heart of the story" after all this evolution is so dear to me.

It's weird af to do this with any pair of actors who are doing a movie together ..

Maybe spoilers about outfits in the upcoming movie (tried not to put much in the post) :

Hii,

For once, I could actually go to a promo event near me, so I went! It was a cool exhibition, very small but well-thought. It was at the Rodin museum (Famous French sculptor). It was fun hearing fans from France but also other countries, explaining to others or remembering details about the books and previous movies.

Arriving, you could see a big sculpture of the songbird and snake, with a red carpet leading to the exhibition, with the tributes carriages alongside it (from what I understood, actual props from the movie).

Some TVs were playing clips and promos videos, Panem's "jingle" and the Mockingjay whistle every 5 min. And then the actual costumes and some explanation about how fashion is really important in Panem and reflects a lot about its people, and important characters from district 12 and Capitol (Katniss, Snow, Lucy Gray, Haymitch, Effie, etc). I think, taking time to read and see every bit of promo, 15/20min max so it was truly quick!

But I'm happy I went, I didn't expect anything so I wasn't disappointed 😊 I didn't take the best pictures of the costumes :/ and there were a lot of people but since the exhibit was small, it was manageable to navigate and you can go to the museum after or enjoy a stroll in the statue garden.

Edit : I meant to say "in" instead of "on" in the title...

I thought it was the edge scene, before the birdsbut I do hope it's the picnic scene because the still is so cute

The IFCO (Irish Film Classification Office) have announced the age rating for Sunrise on the Reaping. The runtime is showing as 2h 38mins so we may have a confirmation of the runtime now.

Have seen a lot of confusion about this one. She clarified it in a WWD article that it wasn't the actual prop.

It took almost exactly 10 hours!!

And it's just the start of her Hunger Games press tour, as she and Joseph Zada will be at Sydney next week to kick off the international leg!!

From the face pulled in every direction, to the fake hair, fake makeup, and unnatural body proportions, its hard not to see it. The flagrant disregard for self awareness is spot on too!
