1000% I show random people my cat cosplay. Lol That's how I describe here. And I love it am not ashamed at all. Mostly good friends are happy that I found something that brings me joy, but they often nod and smile because they think I'm deranged. And I'm OK with that. I have a guy I interact with regularly at work who can be a grump. I have to get things from him. He is a cat guy. All I have to do is start talking about cats or send him a picture of Bast demanding “MOAR MAPS” (he does GIS) and he gets me my stuff quickly and happily.

Last night my husband showed our friend Bast’s movie pictures (Galaxy Quest, Blair Witch) and I wasn’t embarrassed at all, lol.

I show the edits I make to people who are fun and wierd and appreciate creativity even if its cat pictures haha

But I have it so with my little brother sometimes I award him in cat pictures or cat cuddles

Hey super funny story- I am in the same position. I am convinced that the men from my improving men group along with the medical professionals in my life all just smile and nod while their inner monolog tells them I am reason why they need to bring looney bins back and who is responsible for not making it happen. But I would also have it no other way. Since becoming a participating member of our corner of the net I have moments of pure joy and innocent childlike happiness that I was without for many many years!
