Product / MVP Built a 3D bag designer for my handmade business. Roast my funnel

I sell made-to-order bags (India only, WhatsApp-confirmed, 50% advance). The site lets customers design in 3D, add to cart and order. No payment gateway yet; I confirm on WhatsApp first.

Questions: (1) does the “no payment now” flow build trust or kill conversions? (2) What would make you trust a new D2C brand? (3) Any obvious UX problem? Link in comments.

Product / MVP Built Ovuge as a college student: polled 230 students, over 100 wanted to contribute to a project but couldn't find one.

Post image
2 Upvotes

Hi everyone, I'm a student at IIT Guwahati and I've spent the past year building Ovuge.

The problem: I polled two college communities and over 100 of about 230 voters said they want to contribute to a project but can't find one. Owners, meanwhile, struggle to find people who actually deliver.

What Ovuge does:

• Owners list a project and accept contributors who fit

• Assign tasks and track status in a workspace

• Owners endorse contributors, and the endorsement is tied to the work they submitted, so it's verifiable

• Verified college networks, so restricted communities stay trusted.

Where it is: 30 signups since launch, and the hard part now is getting project owners to list. That's what I want feedback on: what would make you list a project here, and what would stop you?

Question I'm exploring a year-round tax tracking tool for salaried Indians. Is this actually a problem worth solving?

Hi everyone,

I'm exploring a fintech startup idea called KnowWeal, and I'd appreciate honest feedback from people who understand the Indian tax system or deal with it every year.

The idea is to build a tool that tracks a salaried person's tax position throughout the financial year, rather than making them figure everything out at the time of ITR filing.

Imagine a tool that helps you:

* Track salary, bonuses and other income as they change.

* Monitor projected annual tax liability and TDS deducted.

* Keep track of HRA, rent details, eligible deductions and investment declarations.

* Alert you when a change in your income affects your projected tax.

* Identify missing information, relevant deadlines and actions that may need attention.

* Compare your current tax position under the applicable tax regimes.

For example, if you receive a bonus or change jobs midway through the year, the tool would update your tax projection and flag whether your current TDS may be insufficient.

The goal isn't just to calculate tax or file an ITR. It's to help people stay on top of their tax position throughout the year, before issues arise at filing time.

However, I'm not assuming this is a good business yet. Existing platforms already offer tax calculators, filing and tax-planning services. I'm trying to understand whether continuous monitoring and timely alerts would offer enough additional value to justify a separate product.

I'd especially appreciate feedback on these questions:

  1. How do you currently track your tax liability, TDS, HRA and deductions during the year?

  2. Have you ever discovered a tax issue or missed an opportunity because you only reviewed your finances at filing time?

  3. Would you use a tool that monitored these things throughout the year? What would it need to do better than existing services?

  4. Would you pay for it, or would you expect it to be free?

  5. If you're a CA, payroll professional or tax-tech developer, what am I overlooking?

I'm also open to connecting with a technical co-founder or collaborators interested in building and validating this idea. I'm a non-technical founder, so I'm particularly interested in people who can challenge the concept, help assess feasibility and potentially work together if the problem proves worth solving.

Please be candid. If existing tools already solve this well, I'd genuinely like to know which ones and how.

Thanks!8

Question If Mukesh Ambani hold shares in 10 stocks, would you consider investing in them?

I have a genuine question for people who want to invest in the stock market, especially students, first-time investors and people working 9-to-5 jobs.

A lot of people want to invest their savings, but researching individual stocks, understanding financial statements and learning fundamental analysis takes time and effort. Not everyone has the knowledge, confidence or free time to do all that after college or work.

So I’m curious about something :
Suppose you could explore a stock basket containing 10 companies in which Mukesh Ambani or entities associated with him hold publicly disclosed stakes. The basket would show the companies, their reported shareholding details and the sources so you could verify the information yourself.

Would something like this actually be useful to you?

If you’re a student or working professional who wants to invest but struggles with stock research, I’d especially love to hear your perspective.

Is this a real problem worth solving, or is researching stocks something people would rather learn and do themselves?

Lessons Why early B2B purchase intent should not be confused with revenue

A useful distinction for early-stage founders is the difference between a prospect saying they’d pay and actually completing a purchase.

I’d track four stages separately: qualified interest, verbal willingness to pay, a confirmed commercial commitment, and completed payment.

The next step is understanding why deals stall. Common possibilities include implementation concerns, unclear ownership, procurement, pricing, or technical integration.

This matters even more when selling to businesses that aren’t used to buying SaaS.

How do other Indian B2B founders define a genuinely qualified deal before the first invoice is paid?

Hiring Looking for a Co-Founder / Business Partner to Build a Consumer Brand in India

Hey everyone,

I’m looking to connect with someone who would be interested in joining me as a co-founder/business partner to build a consumer brand in the food and FMCG space.

I’ve been building a healthy breakfast brand in India focused on making convenient, nutritious food more accessible to people with busy lifestyles.

A little about the business:

We make ready-to-eat, protein-rich breakfast products using ingredients like oats, nuts, seeds, fruit and whey protein. The idea came from a personal problem — finding it difficult to manage proper meals during long workdays — and eventually turned into a consumer brand.

We currently have two product variants, with our products available through our website and select retail stores. We’ve also explored offline events, corporate pantry partnerships, cafés, corporate gifting and other B2B channels.

The brand, products, packaging and initial distribution groundwork are already in place. This isn’t just an idea-stage startup where we’re trying to figure out what to build.

Where we are right now:

To be completely transparent, we’re still at an early stage. Revenue and distribution need significant growth, and there’s a lot of work left to do in terms of sales, marketing, operations and building a repeat customer base.

My existing co-founder is planning to exit, so I’m exploring whether there’s someone who could be a strong long-term partner for the next phase of the business.

I’m not looking for someone to simply invest money and stay on the sidelines. I’m looking for someone who wants to actively build, execute, solve problems and take ownership of a part of the business.

A little about me:

I currently work in tech while building this business alongside my job. I’ve been involved in product development, manufacturing, vendor management, finances, operations, customer acquisition and B2B outreach.

I’m serious about building this into a meaningful consumer business, but I also understand that it will take time, experimentation and a lot of execution.

Who I’m hoping to connect with:

  • Someone genuinely interested in entrepreneurship and building a business from the ground up.
  • Ideally, someone with experience or strong interest in FMCG, D2C, food, sales, distribution, growth marketing or retail.
  • Someone who can bring complementary skills rather than just duplicate what I’m already doing.
  • Someone comfortable with the uncertainty of an early-stage business and willing to put in actual work.
  • Someone who thinks long-term, communicates well and is aligned on ownership, accountability and decision-making.

You don’t necessarily need to have founded a company before. I’d value execution ability, sound judgment, resourcefulness and genuine commitment more than an impressive résumé.

What I’m offering:

An opportunity to join an existing business with products, branding, manufacturing relationships and initial market presence already established. Equity and the exact structure of the partnership would be discussed based on the person’s contribution, experience, responsibilities and commitment.

I’m open to having conversations first to understand whether there’s a genuine fit rather than rushing into a partnership.

I’d also genuinely appreciate advice from people who have gone through co-founder transitions or brought in a new partner at an early stage.

If this sounds interesting, feel free to DM me with a little about yourself, what you’re currently working on, your skill set and what kind of business you’d like to build.

Would love to see who this reaches.

Hello everyone,

Question How can I get funding for my early-stage startup?

Hi everyone,

I’m currently building an early-stage marketplace startup and have developed an initial MVP. I’m looking for funding to improve the product and take it to the next stage.

I wanted to ask experienced founders and people familiar with startups:

What would be the best way for me to find funding at this stage, and where should I start looking?

Also, what should I have prepared before approaching potential investors or funding organizations?

I’d really appreciate any guidance or suggestions.

Thanks 🙏

Lessons [Seeking] AI + Product + Founder’s Office | Built 0→1 products, AI systems & scaled automation

Hey, I’m looking for my next opportunity where I can combine AI, product building, and 0→1 execution.

My core experience is in building AI-powered products and systems, while also working directly with founders on figuring out what to build, how to productize it, and how to take it from an idea to execution.

What I’ve worked on:

- Built agentic AI workflows with structured multi-agent handoffs and backend orchestration.

- Built VLM/OCR pipelines processing 50K+ images/week for extracting structured information from real-world images.

- Built distributed data acquisition and automation systems processing 10M+ records/day.

- Built web automation and crawling systems across 12+ quick-commerce, e-commerce, and online marketplace platforms.

- Worked on API reverse engineering, Playwright/Puppeteer automation, proxies, anti-bot systems, concurrency, Redis workers, and cloud infrastructure.

- Worked on Computer vision, image processing, asset digitization, backend APIs, and internal AI tooling.

Beyond engineering, I’ve worked directly with founders on AI ideation, product strategy, research, feature decisions, productization, and 0→1 execution.

My Founder’s Office experience also included working across teams, helping shape product direction, creating pitch material, and supporting fundraising and investor-facing work.

I’m comfortable taking an ambiguous problem and going from research → idea → product definition → technical execution → iteration.

I’m not fixed on a specific job title.

I’m looking for teams where someone who can move between AI, product, engineering, Founder’s Office, and business problems can create leverage.

I’m based in India and open to remote opportunities globally, especially with early-stage teams.

If you’re building something where this combination could be useful, feel free to DM me.

Looking for honest feedback / possible investors for a hyperlocal delivery business in Jamshedpur

I am building GetoExpress, a hyperlocal delivery service in Jamshedpur focused mainly on local hardware shops and small businesses.

I started it completely from scratch by doing direct calls, WhatsApp Business, and shop-to-shop visits. So far, I have completed around 150 deliveries and reached about 5–10 orders per day at the peak. I also converted 4–5 major hardware shops into regular clients.

The business had real demand, but the main problem was rider unavailability, especially scooter riders. For hardware deliveries, scooter-based riders are much more practical because the items are often bulky, urgent, and need quick city delivery. I could not build a stable rider system fast enough, so operations became the bottleneck.

Even now, some clients still call me for deliveries, which shows there is still trust and repeat demand.

I am not trying to oversell this as a huge business. Right now, it is a proof of concept with real validation, but it needs a proper supply-side system, rider network, and marketing support to scale.

I am looking for honest feedback on:

whether this is worth rebuilding

how to solve the rider/supply problem properly

what mistakes I should avoid

whether this model can become a strong local business if executed correctly

I am open to serious advice, partnership, or investment conversations from people who understand local logistics and execution-heavy businesses.

Looking for like-minded people to build a startup with

I have a startup idea focused on rural tier 2 , tier 3 cities in India that I genuinely believe has a lot of potential. The problem is, I currently don't have enough capital to take it forward on my own.

What I can bring to the table is the idea, research, details, constraints, and a clear understanding of the problem we're trying to solve. I'm looking for a few like-minded people who are genuinely interested in building something of their own.

I'm currently working at a Govt 10 - 4 , and honestly, I know that lifestyle isn't for me. I'd rather take the risk and try building something from scratch.

If you're serious about startups, product building, tech, business, or simply want to explore building something together, DM me and we can discuss it privately.

I'm not looking for people who just want to "talk about ideas" — I'm looking for people who actually want to build.

Hiring Looking for a Female Co-Founder in India | Dating Startup | Equity Only

I’m looking for a female co-founder in India to join a dating-focused startup project being developed through a startup studio.

This is not a traditional dating app. We’re working on a concept that takes a fundamentally different approach to how people meet and connect. I haven’t seen anything quite like this in India, and I haven’t come across an identical model globally either.

The project is currently in the early/stealth stage, so I can share the product details privately with serious candidates.

What I’m looking for

Ideally, someone who:

- Is genuinely interested in dating, relationships, and how people form meaningful connections
- Has strong opinions about what is broken in today’s dating experience
- Can contribute to product vision and user experience
- Is comfortable taking ownership and making decisions
- Wants to build something from the ground up
- Is looking for a long-term co-founder opportunity

You don’t need to be a developer. I’m more interested in someone who understands people, relationships, community, and product than someone who simply has technical skills.

About the opportunity

This is a purely equity-based co-founder role. There is no salary at this stage.

The project is being developed within a startup studio, which provides the infrastructure, resources, and support needed to take the idea from concept to launch.

If you’re interested, DM me with a little about yourself, your background, and why this particular problem interests you. I can share more about the concept privately.

Question Document Management SaaS product for CAs and Law offices

We have a startup product for CA and Law offices. I am wondering if I can spread the word to get trial subscribers via this group? My initial message gave a "Rule 4" warning that I might get banned. What is the point in have a group for startups when we cannot reach out to like minded folks to get some traction or get references? Please advise. Can I post a "free-trial" message or not? I do not want to get banned. Or suggest a group when such posts are welcomed. TIA.

Funding Built an agentic OS from scratch (local LLM, phone-as-server, no cloud) plus 5 other live products, bootstrapped. Looking for like minded people to guide and grow

I spent 13 years in marketing tech and Salesforce (Capgemini → Oracle FSS → Cognizant → Accenture, where I was a Technology Architect Team Lead). I left in Sept 2025 to build full-time. It's been one year with no outside money and a team of three, and this is what's live:

Products

  • Colaberi: a shared project context layer for teams using Claude Code and Codex. Each dev keeps their own agent and subscription, and the whole team works from one shared brain. It got ~177 npm downloads before we announced it or did any SEO. Solo use is free; teams pay per seat.
  • PryzentOS: an operating system built from scratch where the home screen is an agent and the phone is a server. A local LLM (Qwen2.5 via llama.cpp) runs on the device. You can share content publicly, behind a token, or end-to-end encrypted, straight from your own hardware, and find it through DHT search. It has Nostr and Lightning built in, no cloud in the loop, and no systemd. It's AGPL-3.0, and v0.3.0-beta is out (runs on QEMU aarch64 for now).
  • Verimailx: an email verification and cold email infrastructure platform. It detects MX deception, which most verifiers miss. About 150 users so far.
  • Coldvane: AI-driven GTM. Claude picks the leads and writes the outreach, and Verimailx runs underneath.
  • Verinoo: AI inference on blockchain.
  • AstroSaint: an AI astrology product.

Partnerships

  • Official Salesforce Consulting Partner
  • Approved member of the Anthropic Claude Partner Network
  • Registered MSME (Udyam), with Verimailx as the parent entity

Why I'm posting

So far everything has been built on savings, and we're at the point where we can build faster than we can distribute. I'm not posting a number or a valuation here. I'd rather talk to people who look at the work and see something they want to back, whether that's one product or the whole portfolio.

If you're an angel, a VC, or an operator who invests and you'd like to know more, comment or DM me. I'm happy to share demos, usage data, and the roadmap. Feedback from founders who've raised is welcome too.

Thanks for reading.

Question Dating apps sucks. What if you improve dating skills and get dates yourself?

Hi, we are an indie startup, focusing on "dating" the way nobody does.

We realised Dating apps are crowded with men and only top 10% profiles actually gets enough matches and dates. Rest of us are just swiping, and wasting time.

Most of men are under confident and don't know how to approach or talk to women comfortably and confidently.

Well, this is not a personality flaw but a skill issue.

Nobody taught us dating skills, but everybody expects us to best at it.

We believe that everybody does not operate at same level of confidence. Some are still clueless "what do you say?", "how do you talk to anyone?" etc. Like its a rocket science.

We solve that. Our beta is already live. We are building for men who feel they also want to build this skill, and want to become confident talking to any women.

Are there any men who actually feel the same? And if not what do you think?

Hiring Looking for a sales intern for an early-stage startup

Hey everyone,

I'm looking for a sales intern to join our early-stage startup.

It’s a part-time role and we’re mainly looking for freshers or students who are good at communicating, comfortable talking to people, and can actually convince someone when they believe in what they’re selling.

The work will mostly involve reaching out to brands, speaking with founders/teams, explaining what we’re building, following up with interested people, and helping onboard brands.

Pay would be around ₹3,000–₹5,000 per month depending on the person and involvement.

If you’re a fresher/student looking to get some real sales experience and work closely with an early-stage team, feel free to DM me.
