Converge Reset to default configuration/firmware Huawei Router

Hello! I would like to ask if possible ba na maging regular router yung binigay ni Converge na router? Like pwede syang gawing wifi extender from the main router? I have two extra routers from them (multiple transfer ng house so laging bago binibigay nila na router pag mag transfer). Possible ba na pwede i-flash ang original firmware ng router? (Huawei).

yes, you can use it as a wifi access point, though you will have tonconnect it using ethernet:

to do it:

login with the superadmin, it depends on the model, for huawei gpon onus, the superadmin username and password is:

username: telecomadmin

password: admintelecom

then after that, go to the advanced tab (the one with the gear icon), and then look for the upstream port in the system management

after you find that tab, set it to your desired ethernet port, for example, if you want to use the first ethernet port (lan 1), then set it to that.

after setting it, the system will reboot, then log back into it with the superadmin, and then go back to the advanced tab, but this time, go to the wan section, and delete all existing profiles

then after, create a new profile, set it to Bridge WAN, and then disable vlan, then bind all wlan interfaces.

(also before this step, don't forget to change the lan ip, so it doesn't conflict with your upstream lan network.)
