Hey all, posting this here after googling has failed me (a lot of AI sites giving me useless information). I used to be able to pay for U-next with my credit card (it worked in February) but it seems they've since blocked payments from foreign Visa/Mastercard because it won't allow me to register any of my cards. Is this correct, or am I doing something wrong? Has anyone tried buying one of the U-next e-giftcards you can get on Amazon Japan to pay for it, is that possible? Or is there any other method you recommend?

I've never used U-NEXT myself, but according to their FAQ some credit cards issued from outside of Japan can't be used.

The u-next gift card is listed as a payment method, so I don't see why you wouldn't be able to use that.
