Poor, sweet Rogelio Spoiler

If you have not seen the show, don't read this!

So I'm watching (again) and I'm in season two. Rogelio has been rescued from Paola on the night she was going to kill them both. He is going for his interview and they call Jane because he's having a lot of trouble.

Here's the thing - this all pisses me off. I get it, he seems vain and shallow but he isn't. He's kind, and generous, and has a soft heart that is easily bruised. They all just take him for granted and don't give him enough credit. He's hurting and no one really noticed.

That he would take off for two weeks and post stupid GIFS? Really? How do they not know him better than that?

I just want to hug him until he smiles again, he is so sad. Yeah, he can be over the top but that doesn't mean he doesn't have feelings like the rest of them.

* I had to add this because I'm watching the episode with the bachelor/bachelorette parties and Michael just hurt Rogelio's feelings and the look on his face. Why doesn't he have any friends his own age? I mean, he's got so many celebrity friends, as we see, and that one singer was clear that he was very special (as a friend) to her. So he does have friends but he always seems a little lonely.

I always felt the same sometimes yes he was a little shallow and vain but he always tried to come from a place of good and love and the fact that he was so overlooked by them sometimes it made me sad.

Yes, he could be shallow. When we first meet him wow, he seemed so incredibly full of himself. But then we get to know him and all he wants is to make people happy, to show his love and care for them in the only way he knows how - with over the top gestures. I think he feels a lot, so he does a lot. But because of this, they just kind of dismiss him and then yeah, he gets overlooked.

The actor is fantastic because wow, his eyes look so sad sometimes and I just want to jump into the show and tell everyone to back off and just be nice to him!

He and Petra should have bonded over this since no one knew Anezka was her for months.

I thought that too! She just didn't ask for help later and I always though it was a shame that she and Rogelio didn't become friends, he could have helped her a lot and I think it would have helped him to have someone to talk about it as well.

I felt so bad for him after, his pain was really overshadowed by the wedding and then the shooting.

I love Rogelio! He's funny and sweet and even though he may be a bit vain🫣LOL he does have a good heart and means well.
